Not a lot going on, just starting SMEP, we were suppose to start last night but DH ended up in casualty so that put a spanner in the works. He is fine and we started SMEP tonight.
I'm also trying for #1 for 16 months now and I still don't think im ready lol.
Thanks for the list Kellykins.
Im glad everything was ok Claretsgirl0 -
Yeah number 1 for us too.
Not sure I've quite got my head round it either but I know we've got so much to give a little un especially my big kid of a husband. That's what keeps me hoping even when I get down each month when AF appears.Baby on board - EDD 29th Sept0 -
Hi all, on CD10 now today so best get back on the BD this weekend! I'm also TTC #1 and really want my BFP but am super scared - first of my friends to be thinking of babies so all a bit of the unknown. Spending the weekend with young children in the family - they are super cute so that always cheers me up0

Thank you for the lists kellykins for the lists. Pretty sure I'll be moving to CD1 soon but I not there yet.
claretsgirl - I'm so glad your body managed do what it needed to do and that you are making the most of the wine and chocolate zone! I'll be doing exactly that over the weekend too!
Tinks your first day sounds interesting! Any funny stories you can share?
AFM - I've just ordered a BBT thermometer and OV strips. I know I said I wouldn't but I think having no control and no idea what my body is doing is actually making me more stressed. I aim to just understand the signs my body is giving me then hopefully I won't think every little thing means I'm pregnant if I know it happened when I wasn't. Makes perfect sense to me but I am going mad!
Love to all and happy b'd'ing weekend to everyone :j I'll be :A26/5/14 - Baby Neve - left footprints on my heart0 -
lollypopswater, hope you are not coming down with something nasty and you feel better soon. I have had a bit of a tummy bug all week. Not bad enough to keep me off work but bad enough to keep me a bit miserable
jay, casualty sounds scary! Hope your husband is ok. I don't know what SMEP isbut good luck.
Nicky Noo Na, I am the first of my friends too to be thinking about kids (and the first to get married) but on Facebook there are loads of people I was at school with having babies now. That is not including the ones who had them very young...I mean people who are married/in long term relationships and who, I presume, although people do not broadcast these things, actually planned their babies. Nevertheless, seeing them does not make me feel less scared! :rotfl:
Frankieloo, good luck with your temping and ov sticks. Shows we are all different - I was the opposite and doing all that made me more stressed. I would analyse my temperature every single morning and agonise over whether a tiny change meant anything, google it a hundred times a day, examine my chart every five minutes and generally think about it constantly! But I am glad I did it for a couple of months as it did help me to see a general pattern in my cycle.
Hope everyone is ok - it's FRIDAY!!! I am so tired this morning and not looking forward to work. Double bottom set year 10 first thing....yay! :rotfl:0 -

Congrats Loudfish!! Yay another Jan BFP!
I'm also trying for #1 and get moments of what am I doing! Lol my husbands 36 and I'm 28 so in all honesty if he were a little younger then I may have waited a couple of more years. I was the first out of my friends to get married but now a few others have subsequently got married and are now pregnant, feel like I've been left behind but it was my own choice due to my career/probation period. I do feel ready but fear once I become a mum I may not be treated like one of the lads at work as I do now!
Baby dust to all!0 -
Jay I hope your DH is ok?
Huge congrats Loudfish!
Thanks for doing the lists Kelly, please could I be updated to 2DPO today?
Does anyone else get OV pain? I've been having it for years so I'm sure it wasn't a TTC imagining, but don't get it every month. Definitely felt a twinge on Wed though which ties in with what FF thinks, so I'll call it. Have managed to BD for the last 6 days (!) and used the Balance Activ stuff so have done all we can this month. The spray was fine for anyone thinking of trying it, apart from DH managed to squirt himself in the eye with it :rotfl: Doesn't say much for his general aim!Barclaycard [STRIKE]£7,296.35[/STRIKE] £6134.99 - MBNA [STRIKE]£4,182.88[/STRIKE] £3267.08 - O/draft [STRIKE]£569.31[/STRIKE] £413.59 - Capital One [STRIKE]£1477.55[/STRIKE] £1451.44Total debt [STRIKE]£12048.54[/STRIKE] £11267.10 6% paid0
