Hmmm, I really want af to arrive- but not sure I could cope with one that lasts that long pm!! lol

Oh how annoying that no one rang you or answered the phone. Hope the scan goes ok on Monday.

I feel guilty for moaning on here as I know Im a newbie and new to ttc and others are much further along in their ttc journey and have had such difficult time, but I don't really have anyone else to talk to so I hope you all don't mind.
  • ThinkPink - I hope you find out one way or another, very frustrating situation.

Well, not much news my end really. I've just finished my AF, so will be ready to start trying for our 3rd Month next week. If I'm honest, we've let work and tiredness get in the way a lot so haven't really been trying properly or at the right time!

I stopped my Pill in August, so far my cycle lengths have been:
    Sept - 29 days
    Oct - 29 days
    Nov - 27 days
So, hopefully they're beginning to settle. FF predicts i'll be fertile from 5th December.

Without meaning to be rude, how do people find the time? Myself and OH have really hectic lives in the week, don't get home until 6pm at the earliest, we have to do work once we get home so DTD can get forgotten or we're just too exhausted.

I'm hoping with it being December a bit of Christmas Spirit will help!!

    Alipops x

PS: we got married in August 2013, so are already being bugged about when/if we are pregnant or will be. I was on a strict diet before the wedding, as you do, have put on a bit of weight and now people seem to think I must be pregnant!! NO I'M JUST FATTER!! ROTFL
  • Code Monkey - can you update me to : CD6 as of today

    Thanks xx

I am worried about finding the time as well! We have a punishing schedule (up at 5am every day for me to drive hubby to the station, he gets home usually about 8pm and to sustain the 5am starts we really need to be getting to sleep at 10pm). Although I only work part time it is not much use if he is out of the house 14/15 hours a day! He also goes away on business a lot and I am really worried that if he is away during a fertile period, we could easily just miss the chance of trying one month. And if that kept happening, we'd be scuppered!

I am ashamed to admit (as we are both relatively young newlyweds) that normally we can easily go a week or more without sex (often more if I am honest!). I really don't know how we will manage to do it every other day, and don't want it to become a chore, either :( not sure what the answer is!

^^^ This. I don't want to see anyone else apologising for feeling bad about ttc because they've not been trying for as long as some others. This road is hard and much harder than anyone expects, especially as we're taught in our teens that unprotected sex just once will make you pregnant (I laugh bitterly now when I think of all the years I spent panicking that I would get pregnant and ruin my life, and now not getting pregnant is ruining my life!!). Some people will get pregnant really quickly and they'll never understand, some will take longer and experience all the frustration, endless disappointments, total and utter anguish when AF appears, staring at pregnancy tests, willing another line to appear and examining it closely at many angles and in different lights trying to work out if there's a line, an evaporation mark or the ghost of where the line should be, hating pregnant women with every fibre of your being, crying at facebook pregnancy announcements and so on. Doesn't matter if you've been trying for 6 months or 6 years - these feelings are still the same and they're still real. This is a place where we can express them knowing that other people can still understand, share tips that we've picked up, that might not have worked for us, but may have worked for others and support each other until we get to our goal.
