Thanks for the warm welcome all. Think I'll leave the ov k til next cycle as they're so expensive, although I've ordered some cheap ones from Amazon too & hopefully I'll know a bit more after the day 21 blood test. Do u think I should do the ov test everyday next cycle til I get a positive or every few days? It also feels like everyone around.d me is getting pregnant at the moment! X

Laila I have a maximum of a 12day LP but my shortest is 10 days.

I took B6 last two cycles, helped get my LP back up to 12 days as had dropped off to 10 days with spotting after my miscarriage but I am not using it this cycle as preparing to start tests with doctors so thought would just give my body one more natural chance!

I got a positive opk last night so thinking I will ovulate today, going to do another one in a bit and see what it looks like.

So on baby dancing mission next few days!

Oh and I get sore boobs right after ovulation right up to day before my period....very annoying!

hi everyone, hugs to all just here to vent really apologies in advance i got tlp on sunday and am hanging on to test again to see if it gets any stronger im hoping and praying it does and wasnt a blip, its horrid waiting on the plus side theres no sign of af yet but my oh is doing my head in saying you will be bleeding by saturday and im biting his head off, im so stressed

Haven't been able to log on since the first time I posted. Thank you for the welcomes. I'm on CD22 and now just waiting to see. Just guessed at ovulation so probably got it wrong!

I know what you mean about teenagers - we've only just started trying but have waited until we are in a better position to do so. It's frustrating (and will get more so) to see others just doing it whenever. But everyone is different I guess with different priorities.

Oh keepergirl, good luck. Try not to be stressed (I know it is easier said than done!) It can't be good for your health!

When was af due? When are you going to test again? Keeping everything crossed for you!

So CD 26 - still no high :-( looks like an extremely late ovulation for me. So i have a question. ive just done a little google search - do you think the quality of the egg is not as good if you ovulate this late?? My LP is pretty much consistent all the time ... spot on 14 days. i thought as long as your LP was pretty stable then it didnt really matter what date you actually ovulate on -- should not have looked at mr google!!

I read a LOT on this.

It seems that the general consensus is that no it doesn't matter and anyone who says it does has no evidence for saying that, one drs research I read suggested that if your ovulation gets too early (as in earlier & earlier each month) that can be worse than ovulating late.

I got pg from day 21, but I did get anxious if ov was much later than that I can't lie. Prob cos I read too many non evidence based anecdotes.

However if you go on google there are a zillion stories of women getting pregnant on day 50, day 80 etc

The frustrating thing is the long cycles so it takes longer each time.

But quality wise, I mean we are born with our eggs so I can't see why whether it pops out on day 14 or 24 it should matter.

CD1 so a grand total of 7 day LP for me...marvellous
