I read a LOT on this.
It seems that the general consensus is that no it doesn't matter and anyone who says it does has no evidence for saying that, one drs research I read suggested that if your ovulation gets too early (as in earlier & earlier each month) that can be worse than ovulating late.
I got pg from day 21, but I did get anxious if ov was much later than that I can't lie. Prob cos I read too many non evidence based anecdotes.
However if you go on google there are a zillion stories of women getting pregnant on day 50, day 80 etc
The frustrating thing is the long cycles so it takes longer each time.
But quality wise, I mean we are born with our eggs so I can't see why whether it pops out on day 14 or 24 it should matter.
Thanks Claire, thats what i thought... but wanted my Forum friends to snap me out of looking at google too much! hope your pregnancy is well btw xx

Hello all you lovely ladies
Not been around lately due to being super busy ( so much so I haven't even tracked OV this month, probably the first time this year! ) so not expecting anything this month. I ovulated CD 15 the last 2 cycles so if I assume the same this month I'm around 7 DPO now.
Hugs to anyone who needs them and congrats to all the ladies who've got BFP's since I've last been onNew House... New Mortgage! February 2017: £144,000

Hey everyone.
How are you all? Thanks Code for doing lists as usual.
Sorry not been about much tried to stay off this thread this month and just try and relax.
These have been my cycle lengths since coming off the pill is this considered regular cycles or not :
April (came off pill) 42 days cycle
June 38 day cycle
August 35 day cycle
September 38 day cycle
October 39 day cycle
I'm CD41 today. Got BFN and today have started have strange cramping which I don't normally get before AF but no other signs. Think I'm bound to get AF soon. Anyone know if cycles are fairly normal?
Hope your all ok?0 -
Disney they look fairly regular to me, if it's of any help since using FF in Nov 12 ( came off the pill in Sept 12 ) my cycle lengths have been:-
Nov 35 days
Dec 31 days
Jan 30 days
Feb 29 days
Mar 30 days
Apr 41 days ( no idea what happened this month )
Jun 28 days
Jul 34 days
Aug 31 days
Sep 29 days
Oct 29 days
So my cycle lengths vary here and there too but I still consider myself to have fairly regular cycles. It can take quite a while to get into a regular cycle pattern after coming off the pill as well ( up to a year in some cases ) so I wouldn't worry.New House... New Mortgage! Hey.
Well guess what- still not sign of af!! Im seriously fed up now!! I tried ringing the Drs today to get an appointment but the Dr that it was recommended I speak to insists on a phone appointment before she sees anyone- well I rarely get a signal at work plus wouldnt want to be discussing this in a busy office anyway!! So I tried getting an appointment with the Dr who sent me for a blood test- but because he is on holiday for 2 weeks I can't get one until he is back- luckily Im on leave the first day he is back so will ring up first thing and try and get one!! I was very close to crying though when I found out I can't get an appointment for at least another 2 weeks though! (Oh has been moaning though that Im snapping at him- this is usually what happens when Im due on- I really hope its a sign!!)
teaandcakeordeath- good luck.
Thanks for doing the lists code.
Hugs for those on cd1.
