OMFG. I'm in a right state.
So at 6, did an internet cheapie and a super drug test. Both negative. So I sit on loo and cry quietly as the OHs asleep.

Get myself together and start tidying up and now both tests now have two lines - faint test line though. Don't know how long it was I cried for - could it be a false positive?

So need to go and get a good test - clearblue? From shops.

    At 10am... Argh!!!

    I'm a mess!!

    Bloody marvellous!

I graduated from this thread last Feb & am now blessed with a 14 week old daughter. I lurk & am delighted with the hat trick of the last few days. Congratulations to you all & now move on to early pregnancy, then late pregnancy, then motherhood - all with new concerns !

Who would have ever thought that news from 3 people you have never met could put a smile on your face?
  • Hi Ladies,

Hope you don't mind me popping in.

Its been a very long time since I have been on the board (well the forum). I have been TTC for about 5 years. Hubby is ok but I have one working ovary which is surfaced by a blocked tube so have been refered for IVF.

Was referred a year and half ago and at that time took the decision to not come on the thread as I knew that I would obsess until I got the letter to say it was my turn.

Well I got the letter last week and have my appointment on Tuesday. Its says its the first of three appointments, one of which will be a group appointment. So thought it was time to come back and obsess once more. Plus I knew that I needed the advice and support of others that have been through or going through the same thing.

Can anyone offer any advice re what to expect at these three meetings? I'm excited and nervous and anxious all at once.

Enough about me and my ramblings! HUGE congrats to the three ladies getting their BFP's!!! and sending loads of good luck to everyone else whichever stage you are at.

    GTS xx

    Hi getting there,

My appointment is also on Tuesday all the best for your appointment.
May be we can be cycle buddies if we start our treatment at same time.

Oh bum. I've completely lost track of my cycle, how can I be so silly. Trying to work it out so can get sorted for day 21 bloods.
Remember never judge someone that makes a mistake, because in six months time it may be you that makes the next mistake.
  • Hi slowly good luck with your appointments. I had one appointment before starting IVF. Met our FS who explained the treatment & drugs, met a nurse who demonstrated injection technique then collected my drugs. DH came with me which really helped as we both had to sign loads of forms before treatment could start.
I don't know what a group appointment is, hopefully someone else can help.

Sat in bed in tears all because of work again.

I've come to that point in my cycle where I start stupidly wondering if AF hasn't showed because I could have some miracle baby growing in there. You'd think after 3 years I'd have learnt my lesson by now. It makes for an extremely stressful weekend working and I've just tipped tonight. OH on nights so can't even have a cuddle - dog and cat it is then!
