Come on follie foursome. IVF stats are getting better all the time. We were told the Hewitt Centre had a success rate of 57% for IVF and they had improved since then. That could be why some trusts only pay for 2 cycles...

Sorry I'm faffing around with the list. Just trying to get it right. I'd like to stick around until I get a chance to speak to the doctors, but does someone want to takeover the lists? It's less intense than the TTC one, as I just update it when the urge takes me - rather than daily.

Fairy, forgot to say, this was technically my third IVF, but the first time I got to ET. The first time was only to create embryos (in case the cancer treatment needed to include radiation) and the second time they cancelled when they couldn't get into the uterus. So it's the first time sperm has met egg, and been given a chance to embed.

I think I'll lurk here for a while (if that's OK with you ladies) until I get my head round it before moving over.

We just went for a walk in the park and lunch and we just keep looking at each other and saying "I can't believe it".

I've been so very lucky on my first go, and I have definitely had a smoother ride than many, so if I had one wish it would be that every last one of you on here gets your happy families asap.

Wishing the follie foursome LOADS OF LUCK!! As well as all the other ladies. And will deffo be keeping an eye on you all. I will never forget the kindness of the ladies on here, or what we've all been through. This forum is very, very special.

This thread is so happy right now. Made me also happy.

Have a small news myself I started a small diet from January 7th to lose some weight as my bmi was 29.4. Very close to the IVF limit.

I checked my weight today after one month and I dropped 3 kgs I am so happy with myself. BMI is currently at 28.5.:j

This has motivated me further now I want to drop 4 kgs by next month

Can you change my front page entry (ooh err missus) to:

codemonkey TTC#1 since Oct 2010. 34, DH 32. Investigations so far: Transvaginal ultrasound and HSG all normal, SA showed azoospermia with no vas deferens. MESA/TESA impossible. TESE ruled out due to high risk. Next step: lick our wounds and consider sperm donation/adoption routes.
