Sewit, you could just pretend to drink. I was out the other right and tipped the wine glass to my lips a few times, just didn't actually take anything in. No one really notices. Then you abandon the glass somewhere and ask for a soft drink 'between' drinks.

Or tell one person, and ask them to periodically steal your drink and swap it for an emptier glass. I've done that too. Its much easier than any other story that you have to maintain.

Angel don't feel bad for moaning, I do my fair share of it on here. I hpe your friends lo makes a quick recover, such a worrying time.

Peonie huge congrats to you, hope its the start of many.

Sewit I hope the hormoanes are kind to you. I hand delivered a letter to the other hosp where my fs has gone to, she called a few hrs later and have to move onto 3 provera a day, im not sure my depression can cop with that tbh.She said shes going to fax my gp. Not looking forward to it going to a pannel of gp's to decide, seems so unfair that I was already having treatment but had to stop as my fs left.

Has anyone taken 3 provera a day?

I've only taken one at a time and hated it (I thought progesterone was meant to be the happy hormone?!!), but perhaps you could ask the GPs if they can adjust your antidepressants to compensate.

I feel bad. My friend has PND and I've been too up my own !!! with this fertility stuff to notice.

Code - don't feel bad. My sister (who I'm stupidly close to) had PND too and I didn't realise at the time. Looking back it's really obvious but you just don't see it at the time. What matters is that she's reached out to you now. Hope she (and you of course) are feeling better soon. Sounds like you need tea, cake and a few hours of putting the world to rights x.
angeltreats - really hope your friend's baby gets well v soon. Must be a scary time for them.
T2D - I have literally everything crossed for you... can barely walk!
wtdn - all the best for you too. When will you be testing?
PM - really hope you get some decent healthcare soon! I've never been on provera - is it progesterone?

Am confused about who's currently having treatment (old age has set in lol) but I really am thinking about you all and doing the egg dance with all my might xx.

    Hi Ladies,

I hope you don't mind my posting here - i just wanted to post a little something for you all that are TTC. I know some of you have managed to conceive at some point and miscarried previously - some are recurrent miscarriages.... i just wanted to post and tell you all to please, please push your doctors if you haven't already to test your thyroid function. I was asked to take part in the 'tablet trial' after having a recent miscarriage at 9-10 weeks and thankfully after having two lots of bloods, they've found that my thyroid is underactive and also tested positive for antibodies. These antibodies attack pregnancy and can cause miscarriage/early delivery. Not trying to scare anyone etc - just wanted to give you all some knowledge incase you didn't know this - up till this happened to me, i had no idea myself. I'd have likely carried on ttc and probably miscarried again..... This test will be something that can give you peace of mind..... my consultant is very sure this is what caused me to miscarry. I am seeing a consultant in a couple of weeks to start thyroxine so hopefully by getting on this, it might help me in future xx

I just found this and while it's a little (very) cheesy, it made me cry

So sorry Mrs TM. Take care of yourself.

Congrats Peonie :D. Fingers crossed for you T2D & WTDN; are you both testing this weekend?

PM I'm glad your fs gave you some help. I hope her fax puts a rocket up your GP and you can resume treatment.

Hi frozen, sewit & fairy; hope you're all well and have plenty of follies soon. I had my second scan today and 15 follies have started growing and my oestrodial levels are normal. Big relief as last cycle it took much longer for any follies to start growing.
