    I am with embryo.

We got to see it on the screen before it was transplanted. That was lovely. I hoped to get a few pictures but apparently you only get that with Eeva and ours were in Embryoscope.

We took pictures of each other in our gowns - I looked a bit psychotic.

So far we have 2 frosties and tomorrow they will look at the development of 2 more. We'll find out the total number by post sometime next week.

I found ET uncomfortable as I generally am when they use the smear do-dar. Mr P held my hand - awwww. She also had to use a longer tube to find my tube to find my womb so there was quite a bit of poking around and I started to get period like pains. But they subsided after a few minutes. The acupuncturist thought I looked a bit white when I came out.

Yay T2D. I was told to do a pregnancy test on the 31st. When will you do yours?

WTDN - on EC day a member of staff, clearly, said to use the back passage and today to change to the other one. Phone the hospital to check but you only have another day and a half before you can switch.

Onestep - I saw the programme as well. I wonder if they have had many people come forward who wanted to adopt the featured boys.

    Hi chickpea :D
I'm not blameless in the not conceiving department - I've got a low-ish AMH, & I'm a bit tubby so that's not helping things. A natural BFP isn't likely though. And I do feel dreadful that I can't talk to DH about it. The anger is quite a new thing though. I'm sure it'll pass. I've signed up for a bootcamp  to try & kick start some weightloss :D

I'm glad you're ok though :D and that all the test results look ok. Step away from the alcohol (says she who is never more than 2 metres away from a glass of wine in the evenings) xx

Peonie, I was told the same re. cyclogest; back door till ET, then whichever I found easier after that. My tip for the 2ww is wear old pants as cyclogest ruins them! Even dissolves the sticky bit on liners

Best of luck to you all, and big hugs all round xx

Hi WW - sorry about the death in your family and the news about another loved one. Life is hard at times. TTC really does take its toll so look after yourself.

I think about adoption sometimes, but I DH isn't enthusiastic. I have a colleague who is adopting a sibling set of a 2 yr old and a baby...I'm quietly envious, but in a nice way.

(Just watched 'Benefits Street' - wish I could take all those kids away - who swears at a toddler, for crying out loud!!)

    xx

Hugs all round for those that need it, and fingers crossed for others.

Hubby got his repeat SA tomorrow. So lets see if he leaves a big enough deposit this time.

Having a horrific evening, one where I just want to scream and scream. My mp3 has died (only has it a month), the leccy went off and when it came back on, our tv no longer works. And now just received my first neutral (at least its a neutral not a neg) on ebay.
Remember never judge someone that makes a mistake, because in six months time it may be you that makes the next mistake.

Hi TL, I recalled you said that so have been on the look out. The lady today said to lay down for 20 mins after taking it.

Not TTC related but a close family member has died today and also found out that another only has a few months to live. Life doesn't even seem as though its really happening at the moment if that makes sense. Unbelievably heartbroken and just don't know where to turn. Seriously, will someone just give us a break because I'm not sure how much more I can take.

I honestly am thinking of you all though and wishing everyone so much luck for their treatment. T2D, I saw you had your transfer today, I hope you are doing ok.

I truly understand how you must be feeling, in the last couple of months of last year we had exactly the same. One serious family illness after another, plus two bereavements. I kept waiting for the world to stop turning, stupid as that sounds, I actually stopped answering the phone for a while because every single phone call was bad news and I couldn't take any more.

Everyone kept advising me to go to the doctor to see if they could arrange counselling because I was really struggling to cope and becoming more and more depressed. I didn't go in the end but it might be worth thinking about. There's only so much one person can cope with. Sending you huge hugs anyway, feel free to PM me if you ever need a rant about it all.

T2D and Peonie, congrats on being PUPO, everything crossed for you both.

  • WW really sorry to hear your news. Take care of yourself xx

Congrats peonie and t2d on being PUPO! I take it testing day Is 2 weeks from now?

I f*cked up. The nurse told other half could do pessaies either v or r, and I didn't read the packaging properly and did v. Only once though. Looking on internet i think it just makes it easier for clinic to do do ET. So hopefully wil be ok. Can't believe I did all the injections, mixing the doses, etc perfectly and then fail at this last hurdle! Such a douche!
