Just bobbing in to confirm that I did indeed give birth to my beautiful little boy last night. :D Thanks for all the good wishes :)

I'm not going to give any pretentious spiel about there always being hope, or any of the other cliches, but I am grateful to have shared one of the hardest journeys in my life with some of you ladies. :):o I really hope all the treatments going on right now have the best possible outcomes and that answers are found for all the questions and queries and tests etc that you're struggling with.

  • Good luck Peonie & T2D. DH couldn't come to my last ET (had 12 hours notice & he couldn't get time off) and I missed him. Next time he's booking holiday in advance. Nurse didn't want me to dress up, just asked me to take off my bottoms!

Tea - hope dinner went well. Sucks being lapped by your niece. I still can't believe my older sister is a grandma and I not a mother.

BZ - big congrats on your son.

Just a quick one from me to say good luck to all those getting et tomorrow, sending hugs sticky vibes from me!

Defo have dh there at et if possible. It's a lovely moment to share and despite lying there with ALL my lady bits on show, it was one of the best and exciting moments our lives and we wouldn't have wanted DH to miss it. X

    Thanks ladies.

Mr P is going to be there but I had to spell it out in plain language that I wanted him there and that he should be there. He was mostly concerned about the commitments he had made with clients.

At EC I took a sneaky picture of him in the hospital while he was filling out a form and with 'the pot'. I'll have to take another tomorrow. I just hope no one flicks through the photos on my phone.

Right ladies - time for my next straw poll.

What does everyone (who has done it) think about partners attending ET? I appreciate this is a similar question to last weeks, but I suppose this time I'm technically getting (lets not say the word) part of me feels like DH should be there!

    Opinions welcome. :)

Common practice at both the clinics I've been to. IVF is clinical, overly impacts the woman and takes away any romance or intimacy there is in baby-making. Hence they feel it's important that your partner is there at ET. It's the money-shot. When we had the ET for Freddie-to-be he held my hand and we both cried like twats.
