I haven't gone with him either time. I offered but he wanted to go alone. Last time he had to wait for a room to be free and said it was the most awkward waiting room ever because they all knew what they were there for and were watching to see how long it took the other guys :rotfl::rotfl:

When my dh did his first sa a good few years ago a couple came out of the room and were waiting at reception before us, the man went to hand the sample to the receptionest and it slipped out of his hand rolled accross the counter and into her lap :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

When we were waiting for EC a guy went in to the specimen reception with a takeaway in a bag...who needs a tub of rice for that?? The weirdest thing was it was 8am! He was out in 10 mins (still with the takeaway) so it must have worked.

Having a bit of a 'not fair' strop probably brought on by the fact that it seems everyone in my facebook feed has produced a newborn in the last couple of weeks. Everytime I look there's another photo of a baby and I'm fed up. I mean, we've done everything right, I've tried to be a good person, we'd be decent parents, I wouldn't smoke around the baby, or take drugs while pregnant, and I don't drink excessively. So why are nasty scummy people getting to have babies and I don't?

Thinking of installing that thing that replaces baby photos on facebook with photos of transformers.

Know what you mean code. I have one friend moaning about morning sickness, she doesn't understand why I would love morning sickness.
Nearly everyone of my friends is pregnant or with young ones, or even worse in that sicky first bit of relationship where they are all over each other.
Hubby asked me the other day why we weren't all over each other like that, he doesn't understand we have something completely different now, after all we have been together over 10 years.

Part Mouse, I quit smoking in June last year. For me it was quite easy this time, but only as I kept my mind on why I was doing it. I had tried to quit before and I just couldn't. I only found I could do it once I truly wanted to quit.

I don't smoke. I dont have a problem with anyone else doing it (unless they're pregnant or smoking around their baby). I quite like the smell but I have small lungs and being in smoky places makes my chest hurt.

Vesper well done on quitting, I'm using ecig but do keep having the odd one, I know I should stop but can't imagine not having one silly crutch really.

Code good to hear you don't smoke, one of those things I wish I never started. I may well be in the 2ww wait so will do my best to stay smoke free but can't help but feeling the injections won't have got me to get pg.

The only reason I mentioned it is that I have relatives who manage to get pregnant at the drop of a hat and not one of them quit smoking during their many pregnancies. Seems really unfair to me.
