    Hi Tea

All good here thanks. CD10 so BDing starts Wednesday! Going to give it a go this month with some conceive plus. See if that helps the little swimmers to get to the right place.

Funny how this thread is quiet over the weekend and picks up when we're all at work!

I'm pretty sure you can track my cycle by my posting pattern on here. Lots of posts in the 2WW due to illogical hopefulness, followed by a lull during AF and slow build to OV.

littleme - hope the conceive plus does the trick :)

Am now 8dpo and still utterly convinced that I'm pg. AF is going to be a hard kick in the stomach this time. Really wish I could get my hope under control. I never usually get like this, I'm usually far more realistic about our chances (ie. non-existent).

Am still getting annoyed by adverts lol, and by people saying stupid things like "as a parent". It's everywhere now... stop it people! Have just got narked at a post on here where someone had posted something like "as a mum, if you don't understand what a doctor has hold you, please ask them". Seriously?! !!!!!! has that got to do with being a mother??

    OK... and breathe....

TL - in an attempt to slightly manage your optimism, isn't irritability around now a classic PMS sign! I know it is for me...

    But fingers crossed.

Crazy as it sounds, I think it's only this month that I have finally accepted it isn't going to happen naturally. Despite everything I still hope, but as I'm heading for IVF finally, I realize that is what is needed. I've decided it isn't a massive failing, and that even though my kids will be 'late' (as in all my friends already have kids) there are lots of advantages. They will be hating their teenagers while I still have a cute little kid. My kids will have cool older friends who can sneak them into pubs when they are young, and somewhere to crash when they do a gap year. And I won't be distracted by the middle major career years, so will have time and ability to focus on them.

    Now - must work!

Ugh, I know what you mean. I get narked by all the facebook posts that start "mummy friends". Ok, I generally don't have any answer to questions about nappies, but "mummy friends" urgh. It's as annoying as people who refer to themselves as "yummy mummies". It doesn't make you cool. It just makes you annoying!

And breathe. I think PMS is kicking in.

PM - good luck with the bloods. Knew there was something this week :)

T2D - like your reasoning there :). Needing IVF definitely isn't a failing, and there really are advantages to starting all of this a bit later on in life.

I think I'm the opposite in that I accepted this wasn't going to happen without serious medical intervention years ago... which is why I'm finding the ridiculous over-optimism of this cycle so out of the blue!

Am usually spotting by 12dpo at the latest, then AF arrives a couple of days later.... so should be spotting by friday.

Big hugs Mrs Davo, you're so right about this never going away. Was wide awake at 5am again this morning (third day in a row), thinking about all of this.

    Woman at work today:

    Do you have any children?

    Me: No

Her: Well you want to get cracking then don't you, you don't have forever and sometimes it takes longer than you think to get pregnant!

Ugh.......I wouldn't know what to say to that. I'd be too gobsmacked!

Some people should not be allowed to open their mouths in public.

It is usually those people who shouldn't open their mouths in public who never shut up!!!!

Found our today that my cousin's wife successfully gave birth to twins today. Pleased for them but still can't help feeling really jealous and that life is unfair!

Mrs davo thanks, I can't belive we even got 1 follie after such a long time. Will get mt prodestrone checked on Fri to make sure I did ov.

Agree some people can be so rude, how can they possibly know what others are going through.

Tea I to accepted years ago it would take a lot of work to get pg, im trying not to be to hopeful as I just can't see us getting a bfp, I know I should try to be more positive but can't help the way I feel.

Getting quite a lot of twinges on the side my follie was.

    Primmer hugs to you.
