Oh !!!!!!. This is why I shouldn't lurk on the pregnancy threads but I do like to keep an eye on the ttc thread graduates.

Anyway one poster who was on the ttc thread has found out that she's having a girl and wanted a boy so now she's talking about putting the baby up for adoption and how she's so upset that she'd be raising an unwanted baby because that's not what she wanted. It's actually really upset a lot of the people from the ttc threads, especially the long term ones and I'm upset by it. We've been trying so long, I wouldn't care if a girl, boy, hermaphrodite or trained monkey came out. This is an example of life not being fair.

It's not the first time/reason/excuse she's had for the pregnancy "ruining her life/career either". :silenced::cool:

It's really peed me off, especially as there are so many people in there who have either struggled to conceive or have had losses, so to complain "oh its not the sex I want to I just dont want it anymore  Clearly the girl has some issues but I kind of want to give her a slap.

Probably should stay out of there for a while.

I couldn't help myself - I've had to comment. I thought I was remarkably constrained actually. It's not even the fact that she's disappointed - I know someone who went through something similar - it's the way she's going about it. She's unhinged. Why doesn't she have a midwife? Why does she think she can just give the baby up for adoption by choosing some family like her baby's an unwanted toaster? Plus she's getting bent out of shape that people are finding her posts insulting and distasteful. It's one thing desperately wanting either a girl or a boy; it's another altogether to just give it away like an unwanted gift then wonder why people find you odd. Perhaps I'll be generous and blame hormones/shock but she sounds like a nutter to me. The baby's probably better off elsewhere frankly.

I've just read a post that says she has fertility problems and struggled to conceive this one. Staggering. Honestly I think she's lost it a bit. She needs help.

I was hoping no one on here would read her comments Code. It makes me feel angry enough.

I can't decide if she's a troll or a seriously messed up individual.

Apparently 50% is a 'small possibility' so maths lessons are needed too.

On another topic :) I'm still stalking you all, hope you got through Xmas ok with all the child stuff going on at this time of year and I wish you all forever babies for 2014/5 and I honestly honestly mean that xx

    Cd1 for me :(
  • Sorry for CD1 PM.

I had to go and read the other thread to see what has been going on. I didn't post there as I wouldn't have been able to restrain myself, but I will say here that anyone who genuinely feels that way about a baby's gender is an unfit mother who does not deserve ANY baby, including one of the "right" gender. A mother's love should be unconditional. I find her attitude absolutely disgusting. To think that there are so many of us who would love any baby we were lucky enough to conceive, and provide a loving home and do our very best to give it the best life possible, but we can't conceive, and someone like that can, honestly it's like karma has gone wrong. She is either mentally unhinged or a selfish b1tch. If it's the former, I hope she gets help. If the latter, I hope karma sorts itself out and she gets what she deserves.

Oh and hi Claire, if you're still reading! Hope all is well with you and you had a lovely Christmas xx

I've just read a post that says she has fertility problems and struggled to conceive this one. Staggering. Honestly I think she's lost it a bit. She needs help.

She was on the ttc thread for about two weeks and said she didn't have periods at all - I was confused so asked if she bled and she said no and that she didn't use any protection so after two weeks of being on the thread she disappeared and then reappeared on the less than 12 week thread.

I have left the thread now - but do not think she considered the thoughts of one lady at least I know on that thread who had years of trying and had gone through fertility treatment to have a baby. I can not image what that felt like to read for anyone in that position but it is equally upsetting to those who have had losses and indeed are pregnant now let alone those trying. I still think anyone who wasn't planning to have children or anymore children would find that offensive.

Sorry to post on here but I am convinced she is a troll of somekind or completely unhinged as I can't see why anyone would post that type of thing on an open forum for such reasons as people lurking maybe in the boat of trying for years etc.
