    Pink hugs to you.

Afm I've got some follies thanks to pcos one looks like it might do something but is very small. Got to call later to see if we're going up to 3 vials.not ttc related but went to unlocked my bike after scan and the key snapped off in the lock. Went to a bike shop who said they couldn't help as I have no prof the bike is mine, well I have the rest of the snapped off key on my key ring. It's miles away from home. My thing is I've always locked it up outside a police stations thinking that was the safest place, went there thinking they could help only to find out its benn closed down.

Bizarrely I grew to quite enjoy doing it.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who did :D.

Hi pink. It's worth pushing for IVF. NICE guidelines (2013) now state couples with unexplained infertility should be offered IVF after 2 years TTC and not Clomid or IUI as these don't increase pregnancy rates. The guidelines also state that Clomid can increase stress & anxiety for couples with unexplained infertility so you could also push that angle with your FS. Sorry to hear about DH.

PM yay for your follie. We'll have to start the egg dance. Tea come back we need you (and miss you)!

    Hi lovelies

I’m typing this in Word so nobody at work knows what I’m upto, so forgive me for not having read back over previous posts from today andyesterday.

Just wondering – I’ve seen some IVF hypnosis CDs onAmazon. They are supposed to help yourbody accept the embryo and reduce stress levels, and the reviews almost allseem very positive. There are Zita Westones and some others. Has anyone triedthese? Ladies who have had a BFP fromIVF/ICSI (I know some of you are lurking!), did you ever use these? I’m very tempted to pick one up but not sureif it might be too premature and I’d be better off with a generic stressreduction one at this point, as it’ll be a few months till we start IVF?

Thanks! I found the NICE guidelines online and printed out the relevant page to take with us. ;)

Will let you know how I get on. *Really* hope I can skip the second three months of Clomid - it gave me shocking mood swings! MrTeapot wouldn't be complaining if I didn't have to take it again. :rotfl:

Not feeling too impressed with medical science at the mo. When we saw MrTeapot's specialist for his other condition, the specialist said that he has four or five couples under his care where the man has the condition and they're struggling to conceive. All have had normal tests and been put down to 'unexplained infertility'. Currently, no known link between this condition and infertility but maybe they should be looking into it a bit more?! There's far too many cases of 'unexplained infertility'. I'm sure many more will be explained in future years...

Hi Angel, I didn't try hypnosis, but for our first ICSI I had accupuncture. If I had come across a hypnosis DVD I would probably have got it as well, but I had a bit of a hey ho, nothing to lose by trying all kinds of random stuff attitude :)
  • Hey pink. We are unexplained too and they gave us clomid for three months. Then offered us another drug to try (sorry can't remember what) which I refused. I'm ovulating so can't see how these drugs would help. Be assertive and fingers crossed you get referred x
  • Hi Ladies, awful cramping today and some bleeding so if I didn't think it was game over before I definitely do now. Walked home from work bawling my eyes out so not only am I infertile but also a complete fruit loop. Will read back properly later.

Angeltreats, I thought about buying a hypnosis CD but never did, I tried acupuncture before our ICSI like MrsHappy, only had one session as I had a crazy impulse to push needles into my head(!), but took away a few things that I continued with, mostly spending 15mins lying still, concentrating on my breathing and imagining my womb as a more hospitable place! x
