I'm after some advice from any ladies who've had day 21 bloods,my results are

Thyroid thingy (can't remember the name) 0.87
    Progesterone 16

my doctor put on my notes that my thyroid was normal but progesterone was borderline but no further action needed. I'm a little baffled to be honest but I'm going to wait for the rest of my tests.

I don't know anything about the values, were you given a range with your results? My cycles can vary by up to 8 days so I had two day21 blood tests three days to 'catch' my actual day21. Did your test end up being 7 days before AF started? A couple of days out can affect the test's result so your doctor's comments maybe based on that.

Code you're completely normal. I've grieved over so much during infertility that after my IVF cycle I wanted to stop the world and get off. Creating an embie gave me something tangible. I was so angry after my IVF cycle when people told me it was ok because I had another cycle. Although true at the time I didn't want another cycle I wanted my embie back.

thanks rowingirl I used OPK's so my test was definitely on 7dpo

Big hugs to you for feeling angry, people are so full of well meaning comments when you're ttc and some of them can be so hurtful at times x

purcy my progesterone was 18. From what I was told, they're looking for a progesterone level of 30 to confirm ovulation but anything above 15 is considered borderline. With me they did day 2 bloods which was normal and I have to do more day 2 bloods.

Partmouse, sorry this cycle is so carp. Re the headaches, I would really recommend reflexology. I've just got back from my third session, I have one a month in the middle of my cycle. So far I've had my first ever cycles of normal length (28 and 29 days) and did not even need to take a painkiller - first time in my 22 years of having periods that I haven't had to take myself off to bed and fill myself full of drugs. But as a happy side effect it has also really improved my headaches. I normally suffer really badly and have almost chronic headaches that I believe were hormone related, I even wake up with them in the morning, but in the last two months I could count them on one hand and have only woken up with them twice. I'm a total believer in reflexology now and my friend who does it says it balances your hormones really well.

RG nothing helpful to say but sending you lots of love xxx

Angel thanks for the info, I did try refloogy before when I was on Clomid but didn't find it helped. I think having been on the injecting for nearly 4 month has really taken its toll.Come 2 weeks this cycle will be over one way or the other.

    Thanks Balla for your post.

SewIt, yes it's our first cycle so I'm a little apprehensive. I'm still waiting for AF. I can't believe she's late the one time I wanted her early. I wonder what the cut off date is for Christmas...

Hugs for all those that need them today.

Can I ask for a slap upside the head please? AF is due tomorrow and I have spent the last 2 weeks SS-ing and for the first time in about a year I have got my hopes up. I know tomorrow is going to be a huge kick up the behind please someone stop me from taking endless stupid "Am I pregnant?" quizzes PLEASE! When will I learn?!

Summary for the front of the thread:

isla_red TTC#1 since 05/11, 32 OH 33. I have a history of painful ovarian cysts but all scans internal and external clear and 21 day bloods okay for me. Discovered OH has a low sperm count in 2012 so removed from IUI list and transferred to ICSI list. Currently awaiting reaching top of NHS ICSI waiting list, first appointment predicted circa Jan 2014

    Hope I've done that correctly!
