From now on ladies I'll be answering to Jupiter, as I have a massive red spot. Cheers hormones, nothing boosts the self-esteem like a blood blister type thing in the middle of your chin. Not impressed!0

Hugs tl, but you do make me laugh!
Fluff, I think it was TL that got ohss, but I know eight is fine. And the clinic have said we can bolster it by taking a few from the frozen batch if needed. In a 'here's one I prepared earlier' kind of way!!
Yay for the weekend.
Ladies worrying about their weight, I wasn't actually weighted on my NHS appointment, they just asked. Actually he asked my bmi. Im very tall and carry weight fairly well, do I think I sounded believable (plus it was true). You may get away with it if your bmi is 31.0 -
Hugs for the spot Tea...do you have to be seen in public today?
Just had the call from the embryologist-both eggs have cleaved and are good grades. I have 1 x 2 cell and 1 x 4 cell. Transfer is on for tomorrow and she said we could decide whether to freeze the other tomorrow or try and take it to blast! Another step complete on our ivf journey!0 -
Shall we start a weight loss club?
I need to get my BMI down a bit but its been sooooo difficult with the hypothyroidism but the consultant has said that if I can get to around 37-40 or even still heading that way then they will give me Clomid, so I dont think a BMI of 31 is too much to worry about. I should point out they are only agreeing to this because of my age.
I'm putting the colposcopy off for a month though just in case that was AF that visited and followed by implantation or ovulation bleeding, having no sex for 1 month is just not happening right now. The ladies at the clinic are quite forceful but hopefully they will see my point!0 -
Yay derby, that's great news.
Yeah it was me that got ohss, I was showing off with my 17 egg haul. Everyone's doing much better at the moment, you definitely all got the quality over quantity memo0 -
My friend got OHSS. She had about 60 follicles . They had to suspend her egg transfer she was that poorly."Growth for growth's sake is the ideology of the cancer cell" - Edward Abbey.0

How did the numbers work out for you TL? Was it 17 follicles? How many eggs/fertilised/embryos? You don't have any frozen ones do you?
I've had a lovely day. Lunch in Soho with a friend, then wander around the bars (to drink water), then walk up oxford street. Do you know they have made the Eros statute in Picadilly into a snow globe! Very fun.
Very busy though.0 -
Don't know how many follicles actually, just occurred to me I never asked! Had 17/18 eggs (they couldn't make their minds up), 11 were mature, 4 fertilised. By ET day 2 were half-decent and 2 were looking ropey. They put the 2 ok ones back. Nothing frozen so starting from scratch again next time.0

Guess who's PUPO!
I've got a grade 2 7 cell embie on board. Small amount of fragmentation but still very good quality. Second one now lagging behind so may not be able to freeze, but hey ho. Never mind.0 -
Everything crossed for you Derby x0
