Ooh Derby how exciting, fingers crossed for you! What's PUPO by the way?
We are being messed around YET AGAIN by the fertility clinic, they keep sending out multiple appointment dates, cancelling one and giving us another one, then writing out to us and our GP when we "fail to attend" for the one they've cancelled. This has happened three times now I think. Our appointment is supposed to be on 28 November but the new date is at 1:30pm on Christmas Eve! Can't help thinking they've just screwed up again and we'll probably plead ignorance and turn up on the 28th as originally planned, but it really doesn't fill me with confidence that these people can help us get a baby when they can't even get an appointment date right.0 -
How exciting Derby sending sticky vibes your way x
Hugs for them messing you around angeltreats x0 -
Good luck Derby!! Fingers crossed for you xx
(PUPO - pregnant until proven otherwise)0 -
Hurrah, Derby!! So chuffed for you making it to transfer :j
Not feeling positive here, I may or may not have just eaten a pack of 5 iced buns0 -
Ooooo Derby congratulations for PUPO.
Ache so much today, was up and out the house before 6 this morning to help parents with their business. So completely tired.
AF still a pain in the bum.Remember never judge someone that makes a mistake, because in six months time it may be you that makes the next mistake.0 -
Fantastic news Derby. Dig in deep, little embyro. :j:j
Angeltreats - I need to call the clinic tomorrow to confirm the appointment on 3rd December. I have little faith now since they can't even seem to get an appointment letter out to me.
Getting fed up with people telling us to be positive about ISCI. Yeah, cause the fact that if and only if they can get any viable sperm from DH, I'll have to pump myself with drugs which will at best make me the evil witch from hell to live with and at worst risk my life, and then have egg collection under anesthetic, and then uncomfortable egg transfer assuming any of my rubbish eggs are good to fertilise even once a sperm is injected and will involve DH either having a massive needle injected into his testicle or surgery to get some sperm, and then there's only a 36% chance of it working, that's really positive. I want to ask them if they'd put £10k on something with those odds. And yet, we still have to do it so we know we've tried everything. And since they used the words absence of sperm and I've googled hypogonadism, that's dependent on the very long odds that they can get a sperm because DH is not happy about the idea of sperm donation.

Congrats Derby, and hopefully a frostie too.
And hugs code.
I'm super tired tonight. Not even that busy a weekend but I'm wiped out!0 -
T2d, hope you're taking it easy tonight - although I don't know if it's the weather change or whatever, but I've been knackered. I pretty much slept through most of yesterday, and I've just had a nap curled up on the sofa with the dog.
Just feeling a bit sorry for myself. I think its cause every time I turn on the tv, I see a Christmas advert showing how fantastic it is to have kids.Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0 -

I know. But in the 70s ads were all about how fantastic it was to smoke Hamlet so it's worth remembering they can never be trusted."Growth for growth's sake is the ideology of the cancer cell" - Edward Abbey.0 -
