Hey selina,
I know where we live we cannot get NHS funding for insemination, I presume all tests we can still have though?
I think we would go for IVF still but to be honest that will need further consideration once it got to that stage.
Good Luck Derby fingers crossed for you.
Vesper sorry you got a BFN
My AF is in full flow today.... Going to try and book our first GP appointment for a couple weeks time, just bit worried about being able to get appointments on my right cycle days for blood tests. Oh and that the GP doesn't tell me I have to wait until June because of my miscarriage! Now a SAHM trying to earn some spare pennies each month0 -
Hugs vesper infertility is a cowbag.
Derby fingers crossed for all your eggs to fertilise tonight and a happy phonecall from your embryologist tomorrow morning. The biscuit will only dare to be just a biscuit when it is with its true friend the potato. (Edward Monkton) :beer:0 -
Hey that's great derby! Glad DH is looking after you and fingers crossed for more good news in the morning.0

Morning all. Fingers crossed for you today derby.
Just had second scan and have 8 good sized follicles. No more than earlier scan, but mostly even sized which is good I think. Trying to keep positive, although I can't help compare to last cycle where there were lots more.
EC looking like Wednesday or Thursday next week.0 -
Well 2 hours after testing, AF arrived with a flourish (it didn't really flourish, just trying to make it sound better than it really does
). Stooooopid body.
Spent dancing last night in utter pain, as the base of my back is aching like crazy. Trying to do Burlex is not very easy or sexy when AF has arrived.Remember never judge someone that makes a mistake, because in six months time it may be you that makes the next mistake.0 -
Ooh eggs! Fantastic news derby - have everything crossed that they're turning into the most beautiful little embryos as we [STRIKE]speak [/STRIKE]type. I think it's a sign of my advancing age that I was most excited to hear about a new dressing gown
.
Boo for AF vesper. I swear it knows when we give in and test, it waits so it can arrive (absolutely with a flourish) before we've had a chance to so much as rinse out the pee-pot.
PM - hope the injections are going ok and that the next scan brings good news.
Hello newbies, and big dodgy hugs to you all. I can't promise your stay here will be short, but it will be sweet. And by sweet I do of course mean full of tmi conversation about other people's ladyparts.0 -
T2d all looking good for you, wishing you so much luck for EC.
Vesper so sorry the witch got you.
Tea the injections seem to be stinging a lot more than last time, I just hope my linings not got much thicker and some follies are on their way.0 -
In the words of Meatloaf...two out of three ain't bad! The third egg was too immature to do anything, but the other two have fertilised! (apologies for the over use of exclamation marks!) We'll be looking at a day three transfer so we're on for Sunday.
T2D: it must be really hard not to compare to last time, but 8 is a really good number, and if they're all growing at the same pace it's really good news.
I'm loving my new dressing gown...it's Jasper Conran and has a hood. I think I may have to get new pj's as well!
Hugs for AF Vesper...get thee to a hot water bottle. I know I'm no longer growing follies, but I can't bring myself to give it up!0 -
derby - I found the hot water bottle ban after ET one of the hardest things to deal with! Great fertilisation rate there, have everything crossed for sunday x.0
