    Morning ladies!

Well, first day of my thirtys is going good! Lots of lovely cards and pressies, then a good midwife appointment.
Baby was wriggling about giving the student midwife the run around as she was searching for the heartbeat!

Hope the scans go well today con and laurablue.

Cute pic Kynthia, no feeling either way blue or pink! Im rubbish at these guesses!

Vicky - I go to a nct stretch, breathe & relax class (went from 14 weeks) which is essentially a mix of yoga/pilates, breathing techniques, massage etc. Its lovely to just chat to other women in the different stages of pregnancy. Last week a few "graduates" brought in their little ones for a visit.
Have a look on their website there might be one near you, I'm in Birmingham not sure where you are!

Claire - Hope you're feeling better and you are allowed home today. Keep resting and looking after yourself. xx

No news is good news :) Do try to take it easy and rest. I'm sure it'll be a little easier once you're back in your own home :)

It's great to hear that Claire although I'm sure it's also fustrating that there's no answer as to why it keeps happening
have they suggested anything re:work? if i'm remembering right you're a teacher which isn't the least physical job in the world, personally if it happened again I'd be thinking about bringing maternity leave forward but i know that might not be an option for everyone/what you'd want to do x

Good to hear your going home Claire :)

I already have a little bump which is scary I don't remember it with DS. Well not this early. I am only little and thinking and thinking it is showing quicker as I have had a baby before :)

Does anyone else go to any groups of any variety where they meet other pregnant women?

    Delurking from the little thread...

I went to pregnancy yoga in my area (leicestershire) with my last pregnancy and it was amazing, a bit funny at times but a good way to spend an evening.
However...she sold a CD which you could play during labour, full of relaxing music and her calm voice coaching you through labour. so i promptly put it on my Ipod. Forgot all about it until about 6 months after DS was born and we were having a BBQ so i played my ipod on random on the docking station...All of a sudden you just heard my yoga teacher calmly saying to all my family and friends... 'this is your birth, your labour, your baby...this contraction will end...feel your vagina opening like a flower.....'

Anyway we all know the moral of that story! Its a great way to meet others though, we ended up going round each others houses for coffee and cake when the babies were born.

off to relurkdom...see you next week girlies :-)

You're close, Im a part time nanny at the moment - done various different jobs but doing this one as I quit my full time office job after the mc last year and knew how bad my morning sickness would be if I got pg again, & I'm hoping to go into children's charity / social support work at some point so it's good experience for that but the problem is I can't just leave if it happens again obviously, whilst I'm at work id have to call & wait for one of the parents to get back etc and kids will be asking awkward questions..

So the thought of bringing it forward from the feb half term to after Xmas instead did cross my mind this morning.

Just praying I get that far x
