I'm not too bad, was scared today but when I heard heartbeat it has relaxed me, I'll be a nervous wreck by the time 13th comes round though.. I only seem to relax for a few days then I get scared again.0 -

Congratulations squirrel!
We're going for the Hayworth cot in white, I had a short list of the Silvercross Nostalgia, the Hayworth and a much cheaper one from kiddicare, settled on the M&P one as I feel like we can trust the quality and it's one of the few things we're having to actually buy.
Becca, everyone has an opinion and they all love to try and impose it on you, the only people who can decide what is the right amount to spend is you and your OH. We're very lucky that we are getting a lot of hand-me-downs from my sister who bought decent quality things for hers and has kept them in great condition, but I know there are people that disapprove of the fact I'm planning to buy a fancy monitor.0 -
Our Doppler has arrived! Going to try it tonight before bed :-)************************************

Yay!!! Hubby felt baby kicking for the first time this morning. I was lying awake and realisedI could feel it from outside, so woke him up going "quick... give me your hand!!!" He was very confused, bless him!!!
Nursery is getting there now, looking lovely, if a bit stark at the moment. On the lookout for an ikea poang chair cheaply now, so I can recover the cushion and paint the frame.

Its worth keeping an eye on ebay for a local collection. I've seen a few on there for around the £20 mark, but I've nowhere to store one until we finish the loft/clear the nursery!Mini me due March 2014

Congratulations on scans and heart beats ladies!
Just back from a mini break to London with DH. Managed to save being sick for only when we were in the hotel and got to go in loads of museums and exhibitions we wanted to see without feeling too bad as long as I kept eating and drinking and sitting down at various points! And amazing the weather was great, sunny most of the time!
Becca I wouldnt worry. Im trying not to spend too much on a buggy but purely because Im a complete nightmare in that anything expensive I cant bear getting it dirty/damaged etc I think to an abnormal degree - when I was a child all my toys were in perfect condition
So I think its better I get a pram thats slightly cheaper but I know I'll probably spend a fortune on clothing. (Yes I know babies are sick, poop etc but I can wash them!)
Its all personal choice.
Also I have found theres not much selection in between the expensive prams and the really cheap basic ones. Although to be fair I havent looked that much yet.
My friend works for a nursery furniture company so Im hoping to get that at cost price, not sure if we'll get baby or normal stuff yet, I need to look at her website. She also used to work for maxi cosi and said once before she could probably get me a deal on a car seat so we'll see once weve decided on a the pram what she can help us with!
My friend had her 20 week scan today, all was well so really pleased for her. My cousins is tomorrow and then mine is on Thursday. So glad we had a few days away as I am starting to feel quite anxious about it and going round London took my mind off it!0
