Good luck moonbabe x
I'm the same Derby I don't feel pregnant at all, it all feels very made up. That's one reason why I'm still lot telling people. I reckon I can get away with it another few weeks at least. I'm not showing much (even though I feel massive and bloated!) so I can cover it up pretty easily for now.

Cllola I'm not sure when the new season of OBEM starts but I'm not sure I'll be watching it.....it all seems a bit close for comfort now!!!!
I think I may be the luckiest pregnant lady ever. After thinking my physio referral would take ages to come through I got a letter through this morning asking me to call to make an appointment. I phoned thinking it would be for several weeks time but due to a cancellation they were actually able to fit me in this afternoon, at the centre nearest to me as well!!!! And because I'm off work sick (due to the hip pain) i can make it!!!
Just having a quick lunch now and then I'll be on my way. Literally can't believe my luck! Our first baby due 25th May 2014 :T

cllola - I love obem....think there are repeats on at the moment.....fingers crossed for a new series soon!
Good luck Moon babe x0 -
Wow that is good service mysecretalias! I hope it helps!
We had the conversation about watching births at yoga the other day. Many of the women had never seen a birth at all and it really surprised me! Mind you i have this weird fascination with watching births so i've seen quite a few on the tellybox. I remember before i had DS i was hooked on the home and health channel on Sky where they show real life births etc and i have made DH watch a few on youtube! teehee!0 -
Hope you get a better sonographer next time sunshine. Congratulations on team blue!
Good luck this afternoon moonbabe
Cllola I love OBEM too. I was so glad I watched it as I was well prepared when everything didn't go to plan with DS. I make OH laugh because I'll say 'oh the poor woman, looks horrendous for her' and he likes to comment that it looks far less traumatic than what we went through! Some of the partners make me laugh though, if OH had behaved as badly and selfishly as they do he'd have been kicked out of the room!0 -

Hahaha luckily DH agrees with this and i think men watching OBEM really makes them understand how they should behave. After all they are as clueless as we are if they have never done it before! As long as your birth partner can support you in the way that YOU want that is all that matters. To some women that means having a laugh and joking around and to some it means being as relaxed as possible. I do sometimes feel sorry for the men though as it must be so difficult to know what to do for the best!0 -
Ok I think you ladies talking about OBEM has made me change my mind about not watching it and I've just set it to record
Back from the physio just now. Probably good they were able to fit me in so quickly, I was about 3 steps away from being a cripple
She said basically a combination of stopping my 6 days in the gym when I became pregnant, along with hormone changes etc means the fluid sac in my left hip is having some pretty serious issues, and then I'm overcompensating with my right hip so they're both in a fairly poor state right now. She actually moved stuff around on the spot to see me again on Tuesday morning, and has told me to take it very easy over the weekend as well as giving me a couple of gentle stretches to do.
So a bit of a worrying situation and I hope she's able to improve things for me over the next few weeks! She's told me on Tuesday she's going to do some quite intense physio treatment on my hip and has warned that I will be very sore afterwards. Gosh I'm looking forward to that.....Our first baby due 25th May 2014 :T

oh dear mysecretalias, really good job you were able to go today then! *hugs*
Hope you can get some relief with the physio sessions even if it doesnt feel like it at the time! Maybe use it as an opportunity to practice breathing exercises for labour!!0 -
Scan went well - we are still firmly in the team yellow camp
Baby was being super wiggly but she managed to get all the measurements she needed, she was lovely aswell, talking us through what she was measuring and letting us know it was all fine. Everything is measuring slightly above average apart from head circumference which is a little below (which is quite reassuring as OH was a 10lb 10 baby with a giant head, his Mum still hasn't forgiven him!).Expecting Baby No 1 - 20/06/14 - Team Yellow!0 -
