Oh and I find it totally odd I could not feel how much our baby was moving on the 12 week scan the sonographer had a real struggle to get the measurements as baby would not keep still. My partner was just looking at the screen he said it was so odd that baby was inside and we were looking in at its activity but couldn't see it.

I am showing everyone at work knows its so obvious now. I remember last time when I had my DS I didn't really have a proper bump but this time its come very quick! I have weighed myself and I have gained .7kg which is nothing I know but I have been so poorly. I have been eating loads and I am hopeful the baby is taking all it needs and leaving me with nothing lol.

Midwife today hoping she will listen to the heartbeat - some of you have had it listened to some haven't so hope I am in the 'will have it' boat.

    16+4 today :)

I could phone them up but wanted to do it face to face really

Im 16 weeks tomorrow and not showing at all yet, fingers crossed I can just hide under baggy clothes for the next 5 weeks :o

I had to ask at my appointment, the midwife said its not usually done until after the 20 week scan, but luckily she was kind enough to do it :)

My Midwife is changing jobs so I will have a new one next time I go. Hope she is as nice as this one (or he). x

  • Afternoon all, just running through as it is crazy busy at work and this poor weather delayed our return from an event so now everything is about an hour behind grr!

Midwife yesterday was o, saw yet another one! Not seen the same one twice yet :( This one was just covering though so won't see her again! Had my bp taken; at my last appointment it was 120/80 which we were told was perfectly normal and expected. Yesterday it was 92/60 so quite a change but midwife didn't say anything (the student asked if she wanted to do it again because of the big variation but she just went 'naah she will be fine')!

Very active baby all night and definitely sitting to one side today as I feel a tad lopsided on my belly!
Still feeling like I've gained too much but trying to ignore that as no matter how much I gain I know I will get it shifted again :) quite nice actually that by the time I come to thinking about wanting to be back near my sw 'target weight' it will be moving in to early summer so plenty of fruit etc to munch on!

Suppose I had better get on with some work :/

At least when you go into labour, it might be a midwife that you've already met seeing as you're making your way through them all :rotfl:

  • I don't look pregnant yet, I don't think - I'm still wearing my normal work clothes. My suit trousers are looser round the back and hips, and a bit tighter around the front, but it doesn't look ridiculous (yet) I hope.

I've not told any of my solicitors apart from one lot, I don't want them stopping sending me work! The one firm I have told is a bit different - they've been briefing me since I was a pupil (11 years, now) and the senior partner's more of a friend that just a work contact, for both me and OH.
...much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.

hi everyone, hope you're all feeling well.

went to the docs today and had my moles checked out. they are changing but apparently this is hormonal and is quite common in pregnancy - feel glad I got it checked though. Also had the flu jab whilst I was there and have a sore arm now!

I am just looking fat at the moment! Not fitting in my old clothes, but not looking really pregnant. Went to H&M at lunchtime and bought myself a few maternity bits, but it was soooooooo hot in there I couldn't be bothered to try them on, so will have to see what they look like later! x
