Another rainy day here - now I know I needed my water butts filling but they are full now so can we go back to sunshine now
DD just about to set off for school and I am still in my dressing gown.
I am on a training course this afternoon then hopefully will get back in time to take DD to her singing lesson ( if not my Dad will take her )

Morning everyone,

Well it's my Birthday today, and all morning sof ar i have been spoilt rotton Knowing i have people round all day i had the house looking all spick and span that was intill about 1/2 hour ago when the children (7,5,&3) decided i has having a morning party thanks to there dad, so now there is balloons and party poppers and mess everywhere. Oh well.

Budget is about to be blown hubby says that this year i dont have to cook ( he mucked up last year and i ended up having to cook a meal for about 10 people last minuite) and that we are having a take out.

Sorry I've not been around but I haven't felt myself for a couple of days. But the good news is I've finally finished the ironing :T and the house is looking good, all it needs is a quick hoover when I get home from w**k and I'm looking forward to a stress free weekend.

This will be much needed as yesterday I got told (unofficially) I am graduating with a 2:1 :T :T :T Offical results are at the end of the month but I can't see it changing now :beer: :beer: :beer:

Goodmorning everyone,

Bit bleak here again today. DH lit the fire last night so my washing was draped everywhere in the lounge. It's all dry this morning so will iron and pack this arv. Going for a walk this morning. It's called the Pilgrim's walk. Think I will wear my raincoat. :rolleyes:

rovina - sorry to hear of the redundancy, but glad to hear you'll be free of a bully. Something better will replace it - the new leaf cannot grow till the old leaf has dropped off. Angelrae - happy birthday - bet you're used to having sunny birthday picnics outside - not this year - never mind, have fun.

Have reached page 599 of TMWQ, not as far as I'd wanted, but more than halfway through the book. Bought 4 s/h poetry books in Highgate Oxfam yesterday - you get a better class of book up there - but feel guilty about reading poetry while TMWQ hangs over me. Cough persists, but going to gym today anyway, to shock pulmonary system into clearing itself.

Got £50 from yougov.

had a bad nights sleep, was worrying over various things, financial and about DS getting a job then DH had a nightmare and kept me awake for ages!
