Animal lovers seldom become vets. They could not handle it.

There is no doubting that it can take a long time to move on from the loss of a pet, but pursuing a fruitless action is not going to help in that process. Counselling would be far more productive for the OP.

This like similar good advice will be ignored unfortunately.

In my experience the vets I have dealt with are animal lovers.

Guess my experience is more the country vet type.

I have never went back to her but she is still up there "helping" other animals .

And doing a good job I suspect. No one is perfect...things do go wrong even with simplest of procedures.

Yes, I can see that being different, but I think most vets are actually animal lovers at heart but however have to make decisions based on the clients they serve.

Things went wrong because she has chosen to ignore what was there in front of her eyes on the blood test result, CRITICALLY LOW PLT COUNT !

I went to see solicitor soon after it happened. The reason for that was he he was also qualified vet. I could not get my head around the fact that my vet ignored my dog's blood test and knew that RCVS will take months to get back to me. His advice was to wait until I hear from RCVS . He did warned me not to put my hopes up and explained what I am standing up against.
Now that you have the RCVS's view, maybe you should go back to that solicitor and seek revised opinion.

So the guy spent 5 or more years studying veterinary medicine at uni, decided he didn't like being a vet, then spent a similar amount of time studying law.
If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales

once you qualify you are always qualified, even if you go into another profession.
so after spending all that time to qualify as a Vet and then having to go and train at law school makes me wonder if he was struck off by the RCVS
