As for your crassness, the OP all along has been talking about going to court, about compensation, about legal redress.
...and you want to compare someone whose focus is on a court case with someone who has just lost a child.

    That's crass.

The "comparison" which it wasn't , was for the benefit of those who have difficulty understanding peoples feelings ....( you seem to be throwing the baby out with the bath water as they say).

Sorry, I'm out of here. No point in taking your insults any more.

Every dog has its day and all that. (if you consider using a phrase about throwing babies out when talking about dead children as appropriate, then that's your call)
    1. Have you tried to Google the answer?
    2. If you were in the other person's shoes, how would you react?
    3. Do you want a quick answer or better understanding?

No, you have the nerve to selectively quote my post, which was designed to show how crass you actually are. Compare the edited part of my post that you used to quote, with the full post. I'm sure you'll be able to get lots of thanks and likes from people for that, just to prove how big and clever you are.

I understand your distress at losing a much loved pet, but wouldn't it be better to let this go? The more you fight the system, the less likely you are to come to terms with the pets death. Best of luck in whatever you decide.
somebody has to fight the system.

That somebody will need deep pockets. The vet has the RCVS behind them, and unlimited legal cover. You have a few informal opinions that will without a doubt be withdrawn once you start to litigate.

I understand your pain, but this is not the answer.

Once again Hachette, what advice did your solicitor give?
