Hair conditioner works well too, even the super cheap stuff :money:
yep that's what I use
I have 1 x UU - toothpaste, I know some people here don't count that but I do, just because I have stashes of everythingWBA bought on offer
obviously!!
Life is a coin, you can spend it anyway you wish, but you can only spend it once.
Go as far as you can see, and when you get there you'll see further.
Take time but don't waste time0 -
Not much to report here. No UU's today but am still working on finishing up the splutterers so hopefully there will be some soon.
I do have some IN's to report
* Neals Yard Rehydrating Rose Facial Wash
* Neals Yard Rehydrating Rose Toner
* Neals Yard Rose & Mallow moisturiser
Treated myself to these as I received my certificate yesterday to say I passed my Foundation Degree level course in Reflexology Mastership. So after 13.5 months of really hard work, whilst being mum to a 2 year old, running my own business and being pregnant for the last 8 months I am now a fully trained Reflexologist
Plus I did get a 40% discount on these items so I actually didn't spend that much on them. One day Rodney we'll be millionaires£2020 in 2020 - Running Total £170 -
Morning all
I have quite a few splutterers at the mo but no UUs to report just yet. I do however have an IN, thanks to having time to kill yesterday at a train station and wandering into Boots... I was doing so well too, really thought I could make it through the month
1. Super Beauty Ginger and Pear Bath and Shower Gel 500ml
This was meant to be £5 but was half price and I had a 25% ACM voucher - which didn't work, so had up be manually overridden and then the till gave be double the discount so I paid only 93p. So can't feel too guilty about that! Smells fab, can't wait to try it.MFW 2017 #123 2018: £1,852.64/£39,200 (4.7%)0 -
Woop, two UUs!
20. BB Seaweed face mask - WNBA, don't like the smell and there are other masks that work better for my skin.
21. Natural Collection Wild Strawberry Body Cream - WNBA. I liked this to start, and it had a gorgeous smell, but the dual texture made it SO sticky! Blech. No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries in January!UU: 5, IN: 2Total Stash: 99 - ultimate target 33 (year start 99)0 -
And another one, 22. Nivea Creme 10g. I really like this, and would happily use again, but probably won't go out of my way to buy.
Had a bit of a lightbulb moment last night, not to do with buying things but with holding onto them. PRCP never really did much for me, as I don't save things for best, I just save them to have them, especially Lush LE products or discontinued ones. I have a small piece of North Pole soap from last year that I've been holding onto all year, in case it didn't come back, and it hasn't, and I just stood there yesterday thinking 'well I'd better save it forever then'. But why? Just to say I have some? There will be other nice things when it's gone! I won't actually miss it!No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries in January!UU: 5, IN: 2Total Stash: 99 - ultimate target 33 (year start 99)0 -
Two UUs up for me - an Avon Reversalist Facial Wash - bought on offer - not bad but nothing to write home about WNBA.
And a rose moisturiser - a magazine freebie which fo rthe life of me I can't remember the name of!
Just bought the first lot of Christmas presents at Boots - and a sneaky couple of Ins got in - Sanctuary Hot Cloth Cleanser - so we'll see if it stays in!
I also bought 4 Mitchum deodorants on offer - which really are a HG for me.
I have to say this thread had really started me thinking about how much I spend on stuff that I don't really like because it's on offer - and wouldn't it be better to buy the stuff I love and spend less?
Maybe that's the point of it!!0 -
Another IN
2. Benefit Triple Performing Facial Emulsion 8.9ml - freebie thanks to the Boots ACM machine! This is a nice size for my overnight bag, especially since I'm coming to the end of lots of my facial skincare minis. They made me have a makeover but I wasn't remotely tempted to buy anything, the foundation and powder really didn't sit well on my skin.MFW 2017 #123 2018: £1,852.64/£39,200 (4.7%)0 -

I have a bit of each of the sides of North Pole. I'm going to get them out now!Cookie, I think you're tame. :heart2:

I have ins and uu
uu - Avon Rich Family Moisturising Cream - WBA as it absorbs quickly but it smells like the massive pots of cheap hair gel I used to use when I was a teenager.
Moa the Green Balm - Bought this originally for DD but ended up using the last bit as a cleansing balm, it did the job but I wouldn't buy for that purpose.
In - Mac Kohl eyeliner in Teddy - I bought this based on how much I love the one I just got in Powersurge, Teddy is gorgeous too.
Mac eyeshadow in All That Glitters
With the above I got a Lancôme Dreamtone mini, Clinique DDM mini and an Elemis Pro Intense Lift mini and some sample sachets but I neither count nor use those.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

I kinda do this as well. Some products (especially the ones I get on the front of a magazine) I could buy in a shop if I really wanted to, but I know I probably won't, so when it gets down to the dregs I hold onto it to 'make it last'. I'm currently doing this with a bottle of Benetint, and I do it all the time with perfumes!
I'm getting frustrated - I have no products that are quick hits at the moment to help me get a bit more space...0
