Just popping in to report another UU - Gillette Satin Care Dry Skin Shave Gel 200ml. WBA but want to try out own brand ones/conditioner to see if they're just as good, if not I'll go back to this. In the meantime I have another in the stash. Yep you heard right, Just ONE more! :j0

Congratulations Fairyshazza! X
No movement for me, got a few splutteres though but they just keep churning out more and more!0 -
I'm procrastinating from revision, so I'm going to be nosy! What three products is everyone focusing the hardest on using up at the moment? I'm trying to ditch
- Lush Flying Fox shower gel, as I've gone off the scent. I think there's one more shower in it?
- Nivea Soothe and Protect lipbalm, about 2cm of product left. It's just remembering to put it on!
- Lush Silky Underwear dusting powder - using after every shower and in my shoes. I have about half left, but it's going down quite quickly.
Just interested to see if you all target specific things, and I suppose what you've got spluttering and are confident you'll finish soon!No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries in January!UU: 5, IN: 2Total Stash: 99 - ultimate target 33 (year start 99)0 -
Treated myself to Marie Clare esp for the L'Occitane. I tried the jasmine one yesterday and really liked it so that's what I hunted out. I didnt need it but def needed a treat:)Debt free and busy treating myself:)
No more toiletries/make up until I've used what I've got stashed since Jan 2011, graduated October 2012. Restocked Dec 13..damn those sales0 -
Feeling sooo relaxed after my first bath in god knows how many years! Thought I should try to make a start on my many bath salts / bubble baths and this miserable weather is the perfect excuse.
A bit of a pampering evening, so UU:
8. Clinique Take the Day Off 30ml - WBA
9. Sanctuary Salt Scrub sachet 60g - WNBA, nice and scrubby but I don't like the oily residue left by this
10. Sanctuary Brightening Facial Moisture Boosting Mask 15ml - nice enough but others I prefer so probably WNBAMFW 2017 #123 2018: £1,852.64/£39,200 (4.7%)0 -

Ooh I love reading these lists, I'm very nosy
I'm targeting some LHJs simply to get through them - nothing wrong with them really, just a bit sick of the sight:
- Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturising Lotion 125ml - this was bought for me in error by my very well-intentioned OH (I usually use the gel as this is too heavy for my skin for day use). About halfway through it so am using it as my night cream and hoping to get through it by Christmas - my reward will be opening my Elemis PCMC duo
- Lee Stafford Arganoil 50ml - I quite like this as an overnight treatment but it's way too heavy for my fine hair for daily use. Has been on the go for several months and about 2/3 through it now. Again, aiming for Christmas.
Also making a conscious effort to get through my vat of hand creams by keeping one on my desk at work.
Generally I'm pretty good at having just one of everything on the go, I find that I make a more noticeable impression on my stash this way which helps keep me motivated to reduce it!MFW 2017 #123 2018: £1,852.64/£39,200 (4.7%)0 -
Ooh a list! I love lists
The 3 products I'm trying to finish up right now are all LT products and I don't actually enjoy them but am determined to finish them rather than give in and throw away!:
1. MAC Strobe Cream - my most HATED of products and one I always tell people about. Was sold it 4 years ago just before I got married by a MAC saleswoman who told me 'after you use this, you'll never buy another moisturiser again'. I was sceptical and rightly so. It doesn't moisturise properly, it just gives a layer of shiny sheen. I later discovered (after I got my wedding photos back) that it reflects the flash on a camera and gives you shiny skin. Not good for photosYet it's always touted as 'the' moisturiser of choice for brides. It's not! I only use it before bed now.
2. Herbal Essences Beautiful Ends Red Raspberry & Silk conditioner - No beef with this one, I've had it since 2011 and it takes me FOREVER to get through conditioner as I only use once a week or so. Are there any other uses for conditioner?!
3. Elemis Tri-enzyme resurfacing facial wash - another one from 2009 bought not long before we got married. A nice facial cleanser but dries my skin out so only use it once a week.
A sneaky IN for me is the L'Occitane Violet handcream from a magazine. I got the Rose and Mango ones last year (still using the latter) and I love their handcreams. Was tempted by the Jasmine one but I like violets so...just hoping it doesn't make me smell too much like an old lady"Why, this is hell, nor am I out of it."0 -

I'm another one who uses conditioner to shave my legs. You could also apply tons to dry hair, wrap it in a towel, and wait twenty minutes before getting in the shower? I really like to do this when I feel like my hair needs some TLC
Three UUs in the shower this morning:
23. Herbal Essences Bee Strong Shampoo 10ml sachet
24. Herbal Essences Bee Strong Conditioner 10ml sachet
25. Lush Flying Fox shower gel 250ml.
Discovered the haircare sachets and thought I'd better use them up quick - I love Bee Strong and am currently using full sizes.
The Flying Fox I WNBA ever, because I've really gone off the Lust scent from Lush, way too strong and with slightly unpleasant undertones rather than a nice jasmine (like in the Midnight Massage bars from last Christmas).
Loving seeing the lists, keep them coming! No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries in January!UU: 5, IN: 2Total Stash: 99 - ultimate target 33 (year start 99)0 -

Along these lines I have decided to do a Project Pan, I am sure many of you have heard of it but if you haven't it works like this:
select a number of products (usually 10) that you want to use up and you can't buy anything new until these are finished. I have picked out 10 items , I haven't chosen things that are about to be used up, no sachets and I won't waste or throw anything away. My 10 items are:
1. Dove Body Silk - almost full
2. Bare Minerals Primer - about 1/3 left but last forever
3. Bare Minerals Original Foundation in Light - 2g
4. Guinot Mask Essential - about 1/2 left
5. Body Shop Spiced Vanilla hand cream
6. Mitchum Stick Deo
7. Avon Far Away Perfume - 30ml
8. Philosophy Hot Buttered Rum shower gel
9. Body Shop Vitamin C Day Cream
10. No7 Hot Cloth Cleanser
When all of these have gone I will buy a little treat. Anyone else in?
Also have a uu
Crabtree & Evelyn La Source Conditioner - 500ml, WBA and already have another in the stash. Have moved onto a Pantene Aqua Light to match the shampoo I have in use.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

Although there are plenty more, these are just three of the things I am trying to concentrate on this month:
Radox Coconut Shower Gel - found in an old travel bag last used for camping. We haven't had a tent for at least three years.
L'Oreal Perfect Clear Apricot Face Scrub - I have long since stopped using these foamy scrubby things on my face and have relegated this one into the shower for washing chest, neck and back
Andrew Collinge Perfect Endings Conditioner - an oldie but goodie, that got shoved to the back of the cupboard cos it was no longer man enough for my bleached / coloured hair. Now back in use and doing some heavy handed application as a leave in 'treatment' once a week.Mortgage
