No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries October 2013

Final UU for the month:
31. FCUK signature body spray 75ml - I really like layering this with the shower gel and body butter but whilst i'd be happy to use it again if I received it as a gift or it came in a set, I probably WNBA on its own as I don't tend to use body sprays.
This takes me to 31 UUs and 20 INs for the month, spend of £81.03. Will try harder next monthMFW 2017 #123 2018: £1,852.64/£39,200 (4.7%)0 -
L'Occitane - Verbena Body Lotion 50ml - this was the last of a fairly substantial haul of L'Occitane verbena products compliments of the Four Seasons Hotel in Sydney some five or more years back. They somehow took a liking to my vanity case and kept jumping off the shelf to hiding themselves in there every time the staff came to service my room! :rotfl:
Well if you don't use it, HIDE IT! That's my mantra with all things hotel, I come back with loads of loo roll and toiletries lol!No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries 2023

I do like solid shampoos, but I am in a bit of a huff with Lush. They won't miss a fiver or two from me when it's gone. About half the bar has gone so far. It is a good shampoo but two years suggests I've not used it as often as I should have.
Must use up 2 is the mix of aqueous cream and body whip I put together from two unloved pots, to use on my feet.
The body whip is another of that blasted Avon pearlised stuff I keep muttering about, it still looks pearly even after mixing. Keeping it just for my feet stops that pearly sheen getting on everything.
Must use up 3 - half a bottle of OS orange and cinnamon shower gel. It was bought reduced out of season as it's a winter fragrance. I bought the 400ml Avon cranberry and cinnamon when it was vastly reduced as my Christmassy shower gel, so won't be using the OS one in season.
Must use up 4. The Andrew Collinge SLS free conditioners I got from £land in March. About half a colour therapy one and a near full volume therapy.
Right that's it down in writing.
Good.
Aqueous cream is a remarkably low cost moisturiser, but so is Nivea, so I don't think I'll buy for a while.
The Lush shampoo is doing its best not to die. It does work well on my hair though, so it can stay a while. (It's Seanik.)
An NBI. A friend gave me a Gemspa Purifying Jade Body Butter. It looks good quality and checking online I see that this is a M0rrisons product that seems to be no longer available.
I hope I don't like it too much!
See you all over in November.Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Don't keep things 'for best' - that day never comes. Use them and enjoy them now.0 -
This month has completely flown by, and I've been MIA. Spreadsheet has been going strong though.
Further UUs
Sanctuary sleep soothing bath float
Sanctuary sleep smoothing silk scrub - love the scent of the bath float, scrub wasn't scrubby enough for me. WB the bath float if it's still i existence when my stash is better
Avene Eau thermale rich skin recovery cream - HG already replaced
Emma Hardie cleansing balm - HG replaced
No7 instance radiance concealer - had one more in the stash, have been using this for years but may move on to a new brand soon.
IN:
Sensationail chiffon pink
Avene Eau thermale rich skin recovery cream
Emma Hardie cleansing balm
Elnette hair spray
Decided to treat myself to a new gel colour, have not tried yet. The Avene and Emma Hardie are HG, plus I got the EH on a deal at feel unique. Did anyone else know they've changed the packaging? It's more of a short ft contained and much better re cracking and leaks. I'm impressed they listened to feedback.
Hair spray - I need to get more in to the habit of doing my hair, but I'm so low maintenance that hair spray at the roots and to give texture works well for me. Have heard rave reviews about elnette so thought I'd give it a try.
That rounds the month off for me, and brings me to 5 INs and 25 UUs - progress!!
See you in November0 -

UU
50ml Elemis apricot toner - on the fence about this one - doesnt wow me but causes no irritation either, have plenty in my stash so dont have to worry yet about whether I would buy again just yet.
Your OPI shade looks pretty Parisian, can offer no recommendations for nudes as Im not allowed polish during the working week I usually go bold at the weekend. I am off for half term so may have to go for understated for a change. Today I am wearing Cadilacquer - Masterpiece.
Thanks moneyless mac! That Cadillaquer stuff looks great
I had a mini bottle of this which Emma "adopted" and have bought her a full size since as she likes this nude for work. I liked it but have a bottle of Sephora by OPI Nonfat Soy Half Caff which is practically the same. I don't think I own any other "nude" shades with most of my sheer polishes being pinky. OPI Tickle My Francey is a nice pink nude.
I do like beige nudes though and own Leighton Denny Supermodel which I love. Also like OPI Berlin There Done That although that's probably more of a minky colour.
A sort of IN and UU in one. Emma gave me a sachet of Elvive shampoo yesterday. Did make my hair feel lovely and soft so maybe WBA.
Ooooh the nonfat soy half caff looks lovelyI am liking these pinky nudes... Thanks for the tip

Hi ladies!
So, I've been plodding on as usual. There isn't much I need to buy this month (may need some cotton wool) but I popped a Mr. Tom crystal deodorant in my basket when I was in Quality Save earlier this week. I would like to find a really good natural deodorant, and if I 'm lucky, this *might* be it.
So that's 1 IN.Please call me 'Pickle'
