These should be my last UU's for October.

250ml Ojon Shine & Protect Shampoo. Was a HG when I coloured my hair, but a little too heavy now.
300ml Elemis Skin Nourishing Hand & Body Lotion, WBA at the right price, disappointed to find this is the last one.
7ml Clinique Turnaround Concentrate. MBA is it is still available
50ml Clarins Beauty Flash Balm. MBA, but have other things to use first.

1 IN 75ml trial Bottle Paul Mitchell Tea Tree Special Shampoo. I like to have 2 shampoos for my sensitive scalp and rotate them. I really hope that it works as it is Bunny Friendly and stocked by a local salon, so no postal charges.

A good month for me, and I will be looking out for Project Pan (I have been here for 2 years now and still quite a way to go:o)

I have been naughty and bought The White Company Vervaine Shower Gel and Body Lotion from *bay. I really love this and couldn't resist any longer. Will declare as IN's when they arrive, I haven't had a spell on the naughty shop for a while:rotfl:

No more UUs to report. However just wanted to mention the offer LE have on at the mo. Looks like they are running a Star Gift of the Week like Boots and today's is a kit with full sized C&P and IBST in it plus 2 cloths. The offer itself says you save £5.00 and I assume this is £5.00 off the usual kit price as when I calculated the cost of the items individually they totalled a saving of £9.25. With the free p&p today this gives an even greater saving. Even though we are ok for these two products now I would have ordered/bought them again in any case so have taken advantage of the saving and ordered 2. MrM is going to pay me for them to give to Santa for me and Emma so in theory it's not cost me anything.

Think it's a really worthwhile offer if anyone, like me, uses these products regularly.
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

Oxford Owl reporting for duty - two UUS and a totally free IN :D

    UUs:
    58. The Carrot bubble bar - WNBA. I liked the concept of the re-dippable bubble bars, but found that I still had to sit there holding it under the tap, so it was no more than a gimmick. I liked the smell, but not enough to repurchase.

totally agree on the re-usable bubble bars are a gimmick. The scent is less than normal bubble bars and they loose the bubble quickly. I have just moved one into the bathroom (project pan for next month).

    Last UU's
BS rainforest hair butter sachet 8ml WMBA I actually liked it after reading a few mixed reviews saying it left your hair greasy but it worked fine. Project pan complete:j
Weleda smoothing rose night cream 5 ml I found this too greasy for my skin so have used it as body lotion. I have come to the realisation that if I don't like something then I am not going to make myself use it up for its intended purpose like I have in the past.

Weleda rose lotion 10ml WNBA the label is all in german so I am actually unsure of what it is supposed to be even after using a translation thing on the internet it made very little sense. Again used as body lotion.

    TA
Urban Veda purifying day cream 10 ml WNBA I hated the smell and was not keen on the product so this was binned. I don't like binning products but I really did not like it.

Who is going to start the next thread? It would be lovely if someone could.:)

Here is thread for November https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/comment/63629302#Comment_63629302

I hope that it is OK, but I do not know how to make the link for October (at the end) look the same as the previous ones:eek:

Thanks maddiemay! I had the same problem but someone (And, I think) put instructions on how to add the link - in a post either at the start of this thread of the end of the September one. I've forgotten how, I'm afraid :o

My TBS order arrived today, which I'm very pleased about as my plan is for no bought ins in November

    So INs:
10-13. Almond bath and shower gel 250ml
    14-17. Rainforest balance hair kit, 2 x shampoo and 2x conditioner - all 60ml
    18. Moroccan rose body butter 200ml
    19. Vineyard peach body butter 200ml
    20. Rainforest moisture hair butter 8ml - freebie :)

None were needed right now but will be in the next few months I expect and were very cheap - £13.20 total. I'm not counting the 9 items bought as gifts - they're going straight in the present drawer!

  • Final UU to declare

Boots smile 6+ toothpaste - WBA DD loves this one.

Kenzo flower (in the air?) perfume sample - WNBA although pleasant it was a little too strong and floral for my taste.

But to end a dreadful month more ins:

    3 Boots cotton wool pads
    3 Boots smile 6+ toothpaste.
2 Radox refresh shower gel - DH HG
Cute or what gift set in a fox bag - this is for DD for Christmas but I count all the families stash together (4 items)
Boots Extracts shower gel gift set (4)
Boots Extracts body butter gift set (4) - TBS in my town centre has closed so I bought this to use as an alternative.

    Ending the month with
    139 outs
    151 ins
    so + 12 for October
Down to -50 since my 'reset' in August
    No more buying toiletries
