Welcome back maddiemay, your holiday sounds lovely! I'm hoping to go to Tallinn in the new year for a long weekend - would you recommend it?
Back OT...
UU:
6. Sanctuary Body Wash 75ml - WMBA, I like the scent but it doesn't lather very well without a shower puff so not great for my gym bag. Replaced with same!
7. Simple Refreshing Facial Wash Gel 50ml - WNBA, I had had this for yonks and finally decided to put it to use. I much prefer foaming cleansers, or at the very least cream ones - I didn't feel that this really cleaned my face. Also not even sure if you can still buy this! Need to hunt out a gym bag replacement...MFW 2017 #123 2018: £1,852.64/£39,200 (4.7%)0 -
UU Seaweed body lotion - complimentary from a hotel stay a while back. I like the little bottles, as they're a perfect size to top up with my own shampoo and conditioner whenever I go away!0

The North of England (Manchester) and Cardiff offices linked to Give and Make Up are still open for donations. If you click on Email it brings up an email address.
Baltic cruises *sigh*. Mum was from Estonia and Dad was from Latvia. I've got relatives in both Tallinn (Estonia's capital) and Riga (Latvia's capital) though most of my Estonian family is in or near to Tartu, which is Estonia's second city.
I have to accept that with my current mobility it isn't likely that I'll get to do the cruise. Oh well.
Oh I'd LOVE to cruise the Norweigan Fjords!
Re Give and Make-Up, you can send to other places which pass it on, I sent to my nearest one with a big long letter, I never heard back so I'm a bit suspicious as to whether it MADE it to the local shelter (Bath or Bristol, can't remember)
I had to courier it anyway so any chance of avoiding that expense is good. I'm also giving some to Christmas Care, they're accepting donations now. They look after lonely/homeless people from 24-28 December, I know it's not a permanent solution but it's something at least, and I always think things like this are a good start to helping people get a more permanent solution to their problems.
I am considering volunteering but tbh I don't know if I'm that selfless to want to spend Christmas helping at a shelter, plus I don't think I'd really be any help, I'm a bit useless in general except shopping, so at least I can help there!mad_scientist wrote: »Those are all places I want to go, I'm jealous!I might try and head to Scandinavia for my holidays next year so I should start saving now!
One small In (OK not that small) - I was looking at magazines and had forgotten about the L'Occitane hand cream in MC, so now I have the violet one. I like Parma Violets so am hoping to smell like one too :rotfl:
Had a quick look through the magazine but it seemed very light on actual content, I hardly ever buy magazines any more and now I remember why!

Evening, I have been sitting and really wanting apple crumble then realised that the apple pancake perfume oil I mixed with coco lotion makes me smell like an apple crumble.
UU's
Imperial leather Japanese spa bath cream 500ml WBA liked the smell and lasted well.
Beauty protector protect and detangle 30ml WNBA this was in a beauty box is summer. It smelt nice but I'm not sure if it did anything.0 -
UU
Lush bath bomb - unsure of the type but WNBA made the bath a murky colour and there are others I prefer. No more buying toiletries0 -
UU Rituals Magic Touch Cherry Blossom & Rice milk loved this, got it free from a Come Round party so no idea what it costs, don't expect it was cheap through.
Debt free and busy treating myself:)
No more toiletries/make up until I've used what I've got stashed since Jan 2011, graduated October 2012. Restocked Dec 13..damn those sales0 -

I did just have a flick through but it was mainly adverts that I saw. It certainly wasn't light in general, it's about the size of a phone book!
I'll have a proper read with a cuppa another day. I can never afford any of the clothes in the glossy mags though! No more buying unnecessary toiletries 2018

I don't know who can tbh, or rather who would want to!
I tend to read 10 pages, tear it off, and do that, so it gets lighter and lighter! :rotfl: Mind you I do only buy it when there's a decent freebie! No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries 2023
