had alovely weekend with decleor facial at local spa,all treatments half price this month(going for a lux ped next week)the mask was made of oats and felt like the therapist was putting cold porridge on my face:rotfl:but still very relaxing and my skin looked good after.
testing day and night serums for boots at the mo,not sure they are an improvement on my usual but they are free:)

    Morning all

    Welcome back maddiemay.

Have a couple of uu to report

Andrew Barton SOS Twice Weekly Hair Masque - WBA and already have another in the stash, this lasts ages as you don't need a lot, smells like coconut and chocolate.

Cetaphil body lotion - this was a full size freebie and it was used for DD's eczema, it was very good and we will be enquiring whether we can have that on prescription next time we go to the doctors, her skin is clear at the moment so we won't be going for a while I hope.

It wouldn't work for me as roomspray, as I find I really find the scent to strong, however Freecycle!! Why did I not think of that? *bangs head on desk* lol thank you soo much!! Freecycle it is :T

    Glad to help! :D
And I'd never heard of doing that before! I'd be a bit concerned about staining the flannels, though...

You won't, I've done this with all manner of colour mixes, but then I use coloured/bright flannels anyway and rinsed them straight afterwards. If you're concerned then just get a cheap flannel, believe me it's easier than trying to cut one of their bath bombs! I tried it once before and ended up nearly taking my hand off!

    Hello ladies,

    2 UUs:

1 x Gillette shaving gel: I'm such a miser that I bought a man's one that was on 2 for £2 offer when it came out. :rotfl: Well, the only difference is the fragrance and it did the job and lasted a long time, so I'm not complaining. (And I've just tried looking up to see where is cheapest at the moment and surprise, surprise - all the female shaving gel is more expensive than the male version. Why is that, I wonder?)

Hair conditioner works well too, even the super cheap stuff :money:

Ooh how was your cruise maddiemay?

Another UU since the weekend - L'Oreal make up remover. Am not buying anything else until I can get my hands on the Bioderma one from Birchbox as I have points to use towards it and Emma raved about the sample she had. (anything to get her to wash her make up off properly).

Should have another UU tomorrow as the Gok Body Butter I'm using is spluttering nicely. Other than that I may get through a bottle of VO5 shampoo by the end of the week but nothing much else.

Went out at lunch and bought 2 x new body puffs as these are due to be changed. Forgot all about the magazines. Did see the new OPI Christmas colours in Sally's and have to say not very impressed. (Until other folks talk about buying them or I see them on QVC in a TSV that is!).
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

Right! I've been in contact with my local Women's Aid and they accept direct donations of toiletries so I'm donating the following stuff tomorrow.

Feeling better, mostly because I can get rid of some conditioner and body lotion and ease my stash while knowing the people it goes to will appreciate it, unlike me lol! :money:

    So GA.....

Boots Expert Dry Scalp Conditioner 200ml
Boots Max shave gel - Sensitive 200ml
    Boots Max shave gel 200ml
    Boots Medicated Talc 100g x 2
    FCUK Signature Body Butter 200ml
    Johnson's Baby Shampoo 500ml
    Naked Bounce Conditioner 200ml
Nivea Calm and care roll-on deo 50ml
    Nivea Crème (50ml)
Nivea Rich Nourishing Body Moisturiser 250ml x 2
    No7 Beautiful skin Cleansing water 200ml x 2
No7 Beautiful Skin Quick Thinking Wipes (30)
    Proactiv Cleansing Bar 150g
Schwarzkopf Live Color XXL Foam - 100 Black Velvet Crush
Soft & Gentle Body responsive deodorant 150ml
Soft & Gentle Sensitive deodorant 150ml
    Tresemme Naturals Conditioner 500ml
    Vaseline Aloe Fresh roll-on 50ml
    Verdi soap 15g x 2

I know it looks a lot, but most of it cost me pennies due to glitches and deals + vouchers etc :D

I'd just shove the whole thing in and enjoy! ;)

So, I need an eye cream for fine lines, dark circles and sensitive skin. No idea what to get as I've never really used one before.

Body Elderflower Eye Gel is really nice, my HG eye stuff :D For dark circles you're best off getting an eye primer/highlighter pen, I'd recommend Revlon eye primer.

Two out of the shower this morning:

Charles Worthington Big Hair Shampoo 75ml. It did give me volume, but I'll never find it again over here as I got it in Dollarama and they never get the same stuff twice.

Clinique 7day scrub. Will buy again when I go for a GWP time thingie. I like it but there are just as good scrubs out there for less money.

I'm off for a couple of days away with a pal. I'll find out when I get to Vancouver if I'm going to Seattle or Whistler. So I have to look out the passport. The good thing is I'm driving so don't have to worry about security at the airport. Now I just have to pack and get myself ready for a 13 hour drive.

Unfortunately, I have a Sephora order in the post.
