I'm sorry I was being a little dry.

Ah - I get it now, I didn't pick up on the sarcasm before! I'm so tired atm, I'm struggling to function a little bit.

I decided to give myself a little makeover, so I've got a few products to update:

UU Coola mineral sunscreen for face - WNBA. This came in a Glossybox, and was great for my holiday. I didn't think it would last the week, so I used it sparingly, but it ended up lasting a month! It is OK, but left the odd white streak

UU Simple corrector pen - WMBA. I like this, but it wasn't as good as a Maybelline one I bought a few years ago.

TA Model Co eyeliner - WNBA. It applies quite well, and I like the sharpener cap, but it smudges something awful when it's on. I always get really bad panda eyes (even now, when I'm just wearing it in the house), and think there's no point trying to persevere through it.

    sting ones?

I'm not sure, she might have irregular periods or none at all, plus she's a couple of stone overweight so if the baby had pushed up under the ribs it may not have been noticeable, she certainly looked no different hence why she thought she was only eight weeks gone

Hahaha I meant STRONG ones, sorry. Fat fingers on my phone :-D
Yeah this girl was the same kind if, she was slim but gained weight around her middle during the unknown pregnancy and just thought she was getting fat, she didn't have a proper bump at all though. Wow anyway, I hope everything is well with her :)

Forgive me ladies, for I have sinned. In Lush. So it was planned a bit.

Firstly, this morning I used up number 18, Mitchum Deo Stick. WDBA, and already have, this is my staple deodorant!

    BUT now there are INS.

    Ready?
I bought a Penguin bubble bar and a Secret Santa bath bomb (which is freaking huge, should last me like 3 baths if I can manage to cut it).
Then my best friend and I decided to go halves on one of the Christmas boxes (Getting Ziggy With It), so I also have:

Celebrate body lotion 45g, Noriko Soap 120g, Ponche Shower gel 100g, Gold FUN 100g, Sunnyside bubble bar and Dragon's Egg bath ballistic.
(slightly more than half as she bought a full size Celebrate and didn't want the mini one).

Oh, and I also swapped some black pots for a free Catastrophe Cosmetic face mask! Will always repurchase this while my skin needs it, it's great.!

A total of 9 items from Lush, and thanks to best friend's discount, I got them all for £15!

I also had a parcel from a blog giveaway I won, so also IN are Yves Rocher Raspberry shower gel, body lotion and bath cube. Yikes! 12 ins today!

(sorry not sorry, I love them ALL)

AND in other news, I moved back to Oxford today and YAAAAY my bathtub is still here! So I can have all the amazing baths. I know I did stash pics before, but does anyone want to see my collections in their new homes?

YES YES YES!! To AAAAALLL of this. I am happy you have lots of lovely stuff and that it was cheaper AND that you have a bath to use it in. You can definitely cut the house, there's a secret Santa inside :-D
Would love to see the pic! :-D

The original shea, rose, violet and jasmine, all in the 20% shea formulation - which is why I'm getting one of each!

Thanks for this Oxford Owl. Saw the mags yesterday but didn't have room in my handbag (having filled it with my Lush goodies already and was on my way to the MEN) BTW Bruno Mars was amazing although I was a bit miffed that he didn't come on until 9.30pm and didn't sing "Young Girls" (my fave). Think I'll try and get a couple of the mags for stocking fillers.

So went into Lush and bought bars of Porridge, Dirty Soap and Honey I Washed the Kids (for Emma). Also bought Emma one of the Christmas bath bombs but don't know the name. Treated myself to a new Smashbox lipstick called Fig from Boots. Don't have any colours like this. Bought Emma three body mists from Hollister. Not a very good day for this challenge I suppose but then I don't get into Manchester or the Trafford Centre that much any more so don't feel too bad about it all.

Saw the new Philosophy Christmas shower gels and have made a little list for Santa .

We are doing Secondary School visits at the moment (DD is year 5 but we didn't want to feel under pressure next year) it is so hard to know what to do for the best, they all look good on the open evening but someone always has a tale of caution to tell you.

It's a really good idea to look now and be prepared. We did a couple of College open days last year to get a feel but it's a mine field. For example had not appreciated that all subject courses will not be the same and that it depends on the examining board being used. Emma is in line for A's in most subjects and the college we attended yesterday catered more for students expecting Cs. It's a shame as their courses seemed really good and relevant to Emma but she needs to be pushed or won't work!
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

I did some buying today, thankfully no INs as it was the No7 cleansing brush and a refill, used 2 vouchers so £13 total!

.....(And I've just tried looking up to see where is cheapest at the moment and surprise, surprise - all the female shaving gel is more expensive than the male version. Why is that, I wonder?)

It's because they go to the trouble of adding Essence of Lotus Flower and Divine Extract of Fairy Poop i.e. stuff nobody needs in something you shave off immediately afterwards! :rotfl:

    Yes we do!

Re the bath bomb, don't cut it, instead do what I do with any bath bombs. Put it in the bath and let it swirl about etc, then fish it out and pat it dry with a dry flannel, it will dry fine if you leave it away from water and you can use it again. I don't do baths but I use bath bombs in the sink and do this with every one I've ever had, hth.

Nothing has been heard for a few days so hopefully she's fine, they're probably just reeling from the shock!

Two UU's - Avon Skin So Soft Silky Moisture Creamy Body Wash. Used with the matching dry oil body spray. This is the one in the pink bottle.
WIBA? Yes, loads of lovely lather, skin always felt great afterwards, pleasant fragrance. Often on offer.
UU2 100 ml Avon Footworks Beautiful Marine Salt Multi Active Foot Soak.
WIBA? No, big rip-off. It's just diluted bubble bath with a bit of blue dye and sea-salt.
I love pedicures but this product did absolutely nothing more that the Sanex bath cream that I was using previously did. I think I bought it as part of a 3 items for ... deal and didn't want any of the other items offered.

burt bees milk and honey body lotion WMBA nice enough and does the job

Lush the smell of freedom perfume sample 2ml WNBA dont like the smell

Elemis balancing lavender facial wipe (Single) WMBA

Flexitol heel balm sachet WNBA quite nice but not the scent

Head and shoulders shampoo WNBA does not agree with my scalp but my bathroom is very clean as it was repurposed. I have cleaned the bathroom floor with VO5 which has replaced the head and shoulders

Ritual body lotion WMBA did the job the scent was a little overpowering.

Elemis pro collagen cleansing balm sachet WMBA nice enough, have a larger size to use up.

Balance me eye cream (7ml) LHJ WNBA I thought this would never end but finally finshed it after targeting it for the last month or so, think this has been in use for 7 months.

You can, as room spray, or....
    1. Some charities take used perfume, don't know why, maybe they resell it?
    2. Ebay it
    3. If you really can't shift it either of these ways, freecycle is always better than adding to landfill
    HTH xx

It wouldn't work for me as roomspray, as I find I really find the scent to strong, however Freecycle!! Why did I not think of that? *bangs head on desk* lol thank you soo much!! Freecycle it is :T

And I have the offending Body wash to report as a UU today too Dolce and Gabbana Sicily Bath and Shower Gel 50 ml, I *might* have been a bit generous with this lol. WNBA. Well wouldn't buy anyway, I was given this. Onto the Champneys shower foam/body butter I was given last Christmas!! At least I know I like these!

Hi everyone, back from hols, please count me in for another month.

Will list uu's tomorrow when I find the list, but have IN's to declare from Instyle Magazine.

    REN Evercalm Day Cream 10ml
REN Active 7 Eye Gel 3ml
REN Evercalm Gentle Cleansing Milk 10ml

Early night beckons, been trying to sort the garden, heavy rain seems to have battered stacks of tall plants and spoilt a lot of rose blooms, shattered now.

I was so happy this afternoon that I was just squeaking! :P
And ohhh, I finally understand the name! Even though I knew there was a Santa inside it, I didn't get the joke :P

Hurrah! When I'm all unpacked I will show you the shrine to Lush I've built in the corner of my bathroom :P

And I'd never heard of doing that before! I'd be a bit concerned about staining the flannels, though...

And, I must confess another in - I've just got back from a swap shop party with the Lush people (I think I've mentioned, I know all the assistants in my local Lush socially) and am now the owner of a 3/4 full bottle of Lustre dust, which is Lust-scented gold sparkly talc. God knows when I'll use it, but I love it!
I also acquired two full 50ml bottles of old-range Gorilla perfume (I don't count perfume in my stash, though, because I like having lots on the go). Love, which is my go to scent for autumn, and Ginger, which just smells really good on my skin! I love having perfume geek friends, they are so good at judging what's going to work on my skin (and so generous when they think it works better on me!). My skin tends to draw out really sweet notes from whatever perfume I wear, so a lot of really deep or earthy scents go completely madly different on me...
Got some beautiful clothes, too - swapped away a ton of stuff I never wear, and got 4 or 5 amazing things!
