Tonight's seen off UU number 13, Lush Sugar Scrub, and 14, Burts Bees Milk and Honey body cream. Wouldn't repurchase either, although would happily use both if in a gift set or whatever. The cream was nice and thick, but really difficult to rub in (and I'm used to body butter!) and smelled disappointingly like lemon meringue pie rather than honey!
The sugar scrub smelled gorgeous, but it just doesn't work in a solid format, as too dry it's just scratchy, and if you get it too wet the whole thing breaks apart - and Lush don't give you a container!

Oh, and I completely forgot! I have an IN too! The "free" L'Occitane rose hand cream from Marie Claire. L'Occitane shea hand creams are my HG, and my favourite scents are rose, violet and jasmine, so over the month I'll get at least one of each as it's so economical, and I've not seen these scents beore! This one at least my mum bought for me! Between this and the free Body Shop hand cream (also a HG), I'll be swimming in hand cream, but since I'd want to buy them anyway, why not stock up while it's most reasonable?

A TA - bit of an odd one this, it was a tube of pure lanolin that I'd got to use on cracked heels. Which I no longer have. It's actually marketed as nipple cream for nursing mothers and dry skin cream. I can remember using the identical thing 30 years ago. Anyway, as a dry skin cream it is horrendously sticky, and murder to get out of the tube if the room isn't warm.
So rather than struggle any more with a product I don't need to use, it's a TA.

A UU was my Avon Footworks Glycerine and Cocoa Butter Foot Cream with Massager, 150 ml.
WIBA? Not the massager, that was useless, nodules of hard plastic that just moved the cream over my feet, though most of it smeared over the top between the nodules and was an absolute pain to remove. I simply squeezed it out on to my hands after the first use.
The cream itself was fine - more than fine - it has a slightly citrussy fragrance, a change from peppermint or menthol. I would definitely buy that again without the massager.

    Have a uu

No7 Foaming Shower Oil - WBA, this is a really lovely product and lathers like crazy on a puff although I prefer to use it direct on the skin which is less than :money:but you get the moisturizing benefits from the oil that way. Love the scent of this range too. Already have another of these in the stash so no panic for now.

Had the evening from hell last night, I was delivering my AVON orders to customers only to find that one has moved house without telling me, texted her with a sarcy message about messing me about and she told me to F off. Then another customer told me that some bloke has been delivering brochures on my territory. Next I left a customers house without being paid (she realised and rang me so had to go back) then lost a ring that someone wanted to return - neither of us has it so I must have dropped it.

When I got home the kids were going berserk (and they really know how to do this) and everyone ended up shouting and screaming and kids went to bed in tears then I spent half the night awake stressing over it all.

Oh well sun is shining today and hopefully things will be better.

    A UU and a GA
    15. Lush Each Peach Massage Bar - used up as a moisturiser as just small bits - like it, but prefer other scents, so probably WNBA.
    16. Bumble and Bumble Thickening Spray (free with Elle in August) - WNBA. Gave to my mum as it made my hair crispy and greasy. Blech. (Her hair is quite different from mine so she might get on with it, I'm not just being mean!)

Edit: Another UU - Korres Black Pine Anti-Wrinkle Eye Cream. Wow, this sachet lasted a long time, about 10 nights of use! I loved the scent, but didn't notice any particular effects (perhaps because I'm too young to need it yet). WMBA when I'm older.

Wish I hadn't seen these. I'm a sucker for these handcreams. Make great stocking fillers for people. What fragrances are available?

The sister of my friend at work is an Avon Rep and she has similar problems with people. I suppose you can take some comfort in knowing you're not alone! xx

Another UU today: Mark Hill Straightening Shampoo. I have more of these in my stash as I stocked up on a few kits in the Boots Jan sale. Not a product I would enthuse about. The only one Mark Hill product that I really like is the styling cream.

Have repainted my nails today and am wearing Essie Angora Cardi. Love this colour and thought it would be appropriate for today as we've been to a college open day with Emma. I don't think it's the college for her but it was still good to visit. Hadn't realised that the A Level courses can be so different depending on the Examining Board involved. It's a shame because a couple of the courses are great but the college is a little too far to travel to.
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

The original shea, rose, violet and jasmine, all in the 20% shea formulation - which is why I'm getting one of each!

sam.4000 - 900ml of Tresemme, I feel your pain, that stupid little cap which is fixed on so you can't decant and have to balance it upside down halfway through.

So I decant into this smaller bottle. It does pour out of the cap. I tend to drop the big bottle when my hands are wet.

I have decanted it into a lush black pot and mixed it with another conditioner, I agree its so slippery to hold.

Me too. So looking forward to it. I am definitely getting a new block of porridge as this has made my skin so silky smooth.
I walked into Lush ealier today to here " we were waiting for you to arrive, we have been taking bets" from the manager. I have no idea how they know me!

The naughty chair list from lush (INS)
9 ballisitcs current, Christmas and halloween range.
5 bubble bars current, Christmas and halloween range.
1 sandy santa sugar scrub thing (it is different from last year its a cross between a sugar scrub and a buffy bar.)
4 fresh face masks for 20 empty balck pots, but these will not be counted as I have got them for friends at work (I don't like face masks).

I was not wowed this year, there are no new bubble bars just normal scents in a different format. There are a few new ballisitcs but again alot are current range scents in a different format. I did not buy any soap (I was good), I might pick up some in the sale if they do one this year.

Have several splutters but no UU's yet.
  • Sorry to hear about your awful evening Dolly hope today is better.

I am feeling grumpy that despite no changes my skin is bubbling and sore again. I did have a stressful week at work and DD was a nightmare so it may be down to that.

    UU

Sure max protection cream deo - HG no need to repurchase as I have already restocked.

    Mouthwash - WBA

    Ins

Manuka doctor face mask, serum & night cream minis that were on offer.

Have painted my nails with cadilaquer I wish i was the moon.
    No more buying toiletries

VALM - I think the territory thing happens to all AVON reps, it is a real pain and AVON are not bothered as long as they get orders.

We are doing Secondary School visits at the moment (DD is year 5 but we didn't want to feel under pressure next year) it is so hard to know what to do for the best, they all look good on the open evening but someone always has a tale of caution to tell you.
