Hi
I have been following this week and have found it so helpful. Thank you.:T
I work very long hours during the week so I was finding that I use to spending the whole weekend getting straight and not achieving much else.
After following the thread my house looks so tidy. Usually on at the end of the week its trashed. So I am sitting here quite smug :j
I didn't manage to do everything. I still have to hoover as its too late to do that when I get home and I have to change the bedding.
I also poped in to see the inlaws tonight so haven't managed to do the bathroom. I will be doing that at the weekend.
Tonight alone though I have cleaned our office, sorted through some paperwork that needs reviewing and shredded two bags worth.
It just means I can spend some quality time with OH and we can do some other jobs apart from cleaning
I hope you don't mind me sticking around

I've printed out the weeks list in full and going to take great delight in crossing off stuff I've already done. Tomorrow I'm hoping to hit the ground running and get the house clean while still in my pyjamas
I'm going to crank up the music and fly rather than putting the computer on. I can easily have this house done by lunchtime, leaving me the afternoon to clear the ironing pile
At least thats the plan.....:rotfl::rotfl:

I really should get to bed - has been a mixture of wading through treacle today interspersed by some very good bits.
Good: gym x 2
went through paper piles in kitchen
got enquiry about a private assessment
sorted more photos
got some washing done
collected windfall cooking apples from local bridleway
uni gave me another student
Ordered 250 'free' business cards, just had to pay delivery of £4.79 BUT suddenly wondered if it would be on Topcashback - result, I got £5.25 back!!!!!
Bad: tried to order goods, company's web site insisted my email address and password didn't exist let alone match. Got new password and persuaded it to let me in, but couldn't see how to get my discount (one of the reasons I joined that organisation was that it gives me discount off assessment forms). Also couldn't find membership number - details of which should have been somewhere in the kitchen paperwork pile but weren't. I suppose under 'good' I should put that after phoning them (phone = bad) a nice lady sorted it all out easily including discount.
More bad - internet inexplicably went off desktop. Fiddled around with tablet, which seemed to be picking signal up (so that's a 'good'), looked in gmail inbox on tablet and found 6 messages in spam, 2 of which were important and 3 others not spam. One I had noticed that it hadn't arrived (and moaned about lack of response after a query I'd sent) but it was now a week old and had 'if we don't hear from you within 24hrs we will consider the matter closed'. Huh. I sent a grovelling message back, which the spellchecker promptly "corrected" to something I didn't want...but by then I'd hastily pressed SEND. So had to send another message rescinding the first one. I'm not making this up.
Anyway, I must go to bed before I wreak any more havoc.
Already decided to give gym a miss tomorrow; I have to take OH to the station by 8am as he's going on a course, so as I'll be up and about early (that's early for me) I could fly all day and catch up before going away for the weekend. Watch this space.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.0
