I'm taking plenty of breaks and have the windows open. Everything above waist height is now done. Its down to the horrible bits around the toilet and sink now. _pale_
I've flung a wash load of towels in, just about to shove them in the drier and another load in the washer, pottered around a bit in the kitchen and livingroom, now off to finish the bathroom demoulding then I'll have to put DD's room back together. I'll try to get all the empty-and-waiting-to-be-used-for-replacement-christmas-storage boxes into the cupboard where they are meant to be. I'm going to leave downstairs jobs until DD is in so I can keep one eye on her while she does her homework
Off to don the goggles and gloves..and add another bottle of this stuff to my shopping list. I've gone through nearly 1 litre of it!:eek:Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
Back from my music lesson, that's an entire 2 times I've picked up the sax this week
so much for my me challenge!!
It's OH's birthday today, I finished work at midnight last night, one of my colleagues very kindly offered to drop me home during her break to save me a half hour walk home in the monsoon.
I had to be up early to cook OH breakfast in bed (which I never do ever!) as we're both working today and I won't see her again til tomorrow morn
So we had a little present and card opening after breakfast. Now I need to whip around the house and see what flying I can do before I have to head off to work.
Anyone up for a HHC at 14:45??
Raph if doing the grout in the bathroom is a tad overwhelming, why not split it into 4 chunks - one wall at a time?:o(still didn't get started on it thou
) makes it seem slightly less daunting. I know once I actually get started it will be a relatively quick job. It's just eating that frog!!

Don't feel I've done much, but I'm running out of time! I've dusted spare room, vacuumed around, wiped skirtings etc, ran around popping things back in their home. Booked 4 more boot camp sessions for the coming weeks, and messaged a friend with some info she wanted.
I've also just wrapped a parcel for ebay ready for when auction finishes - I'll be away but can just write address on then and pop in post box - it's definately going to sell, there are 27 watchers and 9 bids so far
Going to make myself a late lunch, get the dishes done, then head off to work. See ya later all!

Going to try and redeem myself a bit regarding the Me-Mountain Challenge - I've actually finished most of my "must-do" tasks for today; those that remain are Brain Training, and then getting dins organised which I can't start yet (veggie sausage'n'chips with fried toms for us tonight) so will apply a bit of facial moisturiser before I do my Brain Training. I still don't think it qualifies me for a star, but it's better than nothing.:oIf your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0

LW you are a star in all of our eyes.
did my off site flying and even popped a stack of mags into local hairderssers
found a recipe for mushroom and ale pie have most of the ingredients in (going to sub tinned green lentils for red split dried ones and hope it works) going to try making that for tea. sadly it doesnt require a full bottle of ale so my be forced to finish that off later.
DD1 needs a lift to the ariport tomorrow but looking at whats left on the lists its going to be a busy weekendSPC~12 ot 124

Narc0lepsy wrote: »Thanks for list. Feel I've managed a bit of a head's start, having whizzed around for dinner guests on Friday. So should manage a few of the extras.
Extra extras aka my focus:
clear piles of paper in kitchen
keep on top of falling apples etc in garden - freeze, eat, give away
FINISH decluttering floor of office.
Make good effort at lists
My challenge: write another paragraph of holiday article.
That's what I said on Sunday.
Clear kitchen piles DONE
Gather fruit DONE
Finish office DONE-ish. Have now no bags with ex-college debris on floor. That has established that it will all fit on shelves etc, but the next stage is to go through all files and be ruthless about what might never be useful.
Lists - Good effort made although I have added some more!
Writing - sadly didn't do any of that.
I haven't caught up on today's thread, as have been reasonably dynamic with work and pre-going away for the weekend things, but feel I've done well today. And how nice we're not leaving my mum's till Monday; no more having to get back for college!!
Have a nice weekend everyone, I'll catch up with thread now over a coffee till OH wants picking up from the station.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.0 -
