Didn't do much off the list yesterday. I did however clear and rearrange my kitchen cupboards creating space. Also totally rearranged the living room shuffling furniture making it look a lot better with all the new baby bits.

Absolutely shattered so hoping I can stay awake today.

    Morning all.

Had to put the computer on to check a couple of things, so multi-tasking while having breakfast. ;) Just spotted a spider running across the floor so he's now trapped under a wine glass ready for me to put him outside when I'm dressed. Its too wet to go out in my slippers and all my shoes are upstairs :p

My first point of attack today is the bathroom, and the mould caused by condensation. I've just dug out the goggles, mask & paintbrush ready to apply the nasty mould killer as it needs to be applied to the walls & ceilings. I bought heavy duty gloves & cheap dishcloths that I'll chuck when I'm done the other day. The quick spray on stuff just isn't keeping it at bay long enough any more. :( This will also be a big job off my toots list :D

Coffee is gone so I best think about moving. ;)

    Morning all

So little flying bothered with this week and now I have AF here to help me. Need to take friend to hospital in an hour so I'm going to make a start on the ironing before then.
The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair
  • Good morning all, hope everyone's feeling well today - but here are some sticks, spoons and hugs just in case (although I get the feeling that all these lovely flavoured alcohols I keep hearing about may work even better ;)) I managed to get a decent night's sleep last night so woke up feeling good... only to then be sick immediately after breakfast :o Feel okay again now though so hopefully it was just a one-off and I'm not going to let it get in the way of flying. The 'tidied' rooms look so much better, but this is the point where I always get disheartened with the bedrooms of doom.

Very little flying was achieved yesterday due to the lack of sleep - however I did find time to stay on top of the rooms that have already been cleaned, to do some laundry, go shopping (and actually put it away!) and do a little revision. Sleep deprivation probably contributed to me accidentally leaving the iron on overnight though (turned off the wrong socket) Fortunately all is well, but I'm aware that we're very lucky nothing worse happened.

Having a break from the demoulding. The goggles have left a lovely imprint on my face :rotfl: I have done DDs wall (I think the stuff on the wall was already sorted, but better safe than sorry), chucked 2 large 'walking sticks', aka small branches, she brought home after various trips as they were full of mould (She'd stored them behind her chest of drawers so I didn't realise they were mouldy or they would have gone ages ago) and coated her blackout blind liberally with the demoulder on both sides. I think thats her room checked off for mould now, but its looking like I'm going to have to wallpaper in there sooner rather than later as its peeling off in quite a few places. :(

Next job is the bathroom which is worse this morning than it was last night  I can only put that down to us both having baths yesterday. Oh well, hopefully this will get rid of the mould for good. ;)
