*Right....flying.....not much. had horsepiddle yesterday, and no joy I am still not ready for feasibility molds, at this rate my appointment to meet the surgeon in December is going to be put back til Spring as I STILL won't be ready. The consultant is going to check me again next month and see if feasibility molds can be done then, squeeze in another appointment to discuss.
In a lot more pain than usual today, my forearms are painful too and I couldn't understand why. This morning I have come up with massive finger and thumb bruises where I had been gripping myself so tightly while they were pulling my face about.
Pottered around, S&S kitchen, boiled some rice ready for HM special fried rice tonight to go with my 9p chicken and jar of Sweet n Sour, attended to today's post  flung duvets back on beds, packed back DS teddy's bear picnic that he started at 7 oclock this morning.
I am about 5 minutes away from taking all DD3 belongings outside and having a big bonfire with them and I will send her to school in a sackcloth........She has left a despicable mess in her new room (DD1's old room) and considering she has not moved ANYTHING from her old room there is no excuse for it.:mad::mad: Especially since I got the new room back to pristine standard yesterday before going to the hospital
Her old room at this moment could not look any worse if a nuclear bomb went off in it.
DD4 has got the missogs and it will be time to get DS from nursery in a minute. I think I will spend the afternoon trying to get them both to sleep and knock myself out with some painkillers and hopefully a more cheery Skinty will re=appear a bit laterThe cold never bothered me anyway0 -
Washing hokey-cokey, anyone?:D Mr LW kindly pegged the towels out for me before he went to work - he knows lifting wet bath towels up to the line is nigh on impossible for me - and now it's raining, so I've had to haul them all in (luckilly gravity makes that bit a lot easier). I now have two A-frames over the bath, and a third, L-shaped frame standing in front of the dehumidifier.:cool:If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0

In my HHPainting I have used up another small trayful of emulsion and painted the walls down to waist level (having done the ceiling earlier) - this includes painting all the supporting bars for the slatted shelves. One more trayful of paint and the job should be done, apart from one insert of new plywood above the door which will require a second coat later.
My shoulder is bearing up, but I shall be glad to get it finished. Then I shall order the lounge curtain material
How did you get on, Raphael and greent?

Thank you LW for your lovely words to my Dd when i was younger i was very anti-social and painfully shy , i bearly spoke to anyone but luckily when i was 8 my parents divorced and i became a very confident child. Sorry your dogs have gone, do you have anymore to look forward to? My mam uses a lady to look after her dog too for at least 2 days a week, you offer a very valued service.
Sorry about your mam CY i hope any treatment needed goes as smoothly as it can.
Raph good luck with the adoption process, my best friend is in a same sex relationship, and they are now looking in to this process too
I have read more but cannot think now, i am off to do something useful and will look at the lists.0 -

All I have done is put the washing out and bring it back in. DS1 has emptied the DW.
Looked at energy prices again (Narco I am 'in the club' but I think because my fix hasn't ended yet I didn't get any notification) and have decided I am best to go to separate supplied so have started the gas switch. I wish to leave the electricity but change tariff so I need to look into how to do that tomorrow.
Helped DS1 start his uni application. DS2 has almost finished his. They are both planning on going in September which will be a huge change for DS3 and I although I wouldn't be surprised if DS2 takes a gap year.
Right emails next then my friend is popping in at 3pm for a cuppa before I accompany her to view a house. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -

Well so far I have put sultanas mixed peel and ground mixed spice in a jar and poured brandy on topoh and put it in the airing cupboard.
Some recipes call for all sorts like cinnamon sticks, different fruits etc but I'm going simple. Some also call for brown sugar - I will see in a few weeks if it needs sweetening up.
I made kola Kube vodka last year for my stepdad (doing a wethers version this time) and you bash the sweeties, leave them in the vodka somewhere warm until they all dissolve (goes a bit syrupy and a vivid purple colour) sloshing about (and having a sniff) from time to time. After that I pass it all through a filter (coffee or in my case a sieve lined with kitchen paper
) then funnel into a cute bottle.
So that's what I'll do with these. Leave them to steep and filter then funnel into bottles.
Makes a really easy home made gift!Bossymoo
