Well DH and I did go out and we ended up having an exchange of words on the drive to Morrisons and in Morrisons..oops!! My fault as he was driving and I didn't tell him that I was going to go into town but park somewhere else, then saw a space and thought we could park there instead.. He said he wasn't a mind reader and wasn't driving round aimlessly. Well I can't help it if he drives in town differently to me..I knew I should have taken my car and let him just take his car to fill up with petrol...:mad:x_raphael_xx wrote: »
She uses a fresh glass or cup for every drink, even if it's the same drink, so we end up with hundreds of cups to wash at the end of the day.I often leave things out if I know I'm going to use them later, to save a few spoons, and the usual thing is I go to get the item, whatever it is, and find he's “helpfully” put it away. *rolls eyes* Bless him, he means well.:D And yes, I agree, just carry on with what you were going to do anyway, and make your DH move when you need to get to where he's perched.;)
Haven't really got a lot done but I have had an enjoyable evening with a kitten pouncing from one chair to the other chair and hoping she doesn't get chased by the elder cats..lol Oh and this kitten is one tart, she adores DH which wasn't my intention. EveningAnW'sMum I have to ask, but what does SW5 and SW stand for? I've been trying so hard to figure it out but have got nowhere fast...
SW stands for scallywag and the number refers to their order of birth in the grandchild stakes! I have SW 3 and 5, SW3 is also Miss A when she has occasionally posted, and SW5 is W. My sister is the 'owner' of Sw's 1,2 and 4 and if that all makes sense can you explain it back to me please
:D:D:p:p
ETA It's Monday tomorrow so I had better skidaddle off to bed.

Mum did get the expected diagnosis. They have listened to everything she and my sister said and are going to test for secondaries in the bones.
Really sorry to hear that. Lots of hugs and supportive vibes to you.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.0 -

Presumably you've tried Martin's Energy Club? It couldn't find anything cheaper than us which is relatively green (currently dual on NPower Juice). We checked it a couple of days ago (so ticked off list and data input so it keeps checking itself). Like everyone else's I'm sure, it has gone up after the last 2 hard winters even though we're careful. Our "aga" (actually a Stanley but nobody has ever heard of them) is gas, but it does do the heating and hot water, and we have a small gas fire in the lounge which we don't use much.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.0 -
No actual flying today as I had my first 2 uni students, seemed very nice but timetabling will be a nightmare as one of them has a different schedule for every week, not even the same days off every week so goodness knows how I'm going to fit him in - it's not worth my while driving there for less than 2 hrs work.
Did a large amount of photo sorting which is on my list for this week as we're visiting my mum this weekend and also OH's brother who lives fairly near her.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.0 -
