Bathroom is finished apart from the flooring.
Installer moved over on to kitchen tap replacement all was going well until something snapped off to do with the pop up waste. We can not get the part until tomorrow so I'm playing camping carrying hot water from upstairs to wash up in bowls and then carrying old water to the outside drain.
    Sink has stayed shiny though.
    1xwm done
Bargain shop visited for buckets & bowls
Mr T for cheap drinking water

    Glad when everything is finished

    Hugs to CY. So sorry.

Well, for all we've been out most of the day I've managed to get some washing done, dried, ironed and put away. Did about 15 minutes clearing up in the garden, and made a good start at decluttering the smallest bedroom. I'm feeling really pleased with that as it's needed doing for ages. Long way to go but I'm on a roll.

So sorry to hear about your mum, CY. (((Hugs)))

I have had a non-productive day with minimum flying.

Went with DH to look for curtains at a fabric barn which I used to love because it had a huge display and hundreds of rolls of curtain material at knock-down prices, and I got some really nice patterns there - only to find that a new business has taken over and it is all highly expensive and you can only hunt through pattern books. What a disappointment!

Just had time before my horse piddle appointment to call in at the "Interiors" shop in town. Nice place, would go there again, but no fabric to wow me.

Then the (minute female) physio womanipulated my shoulder so hard that it was really painful - so much so that I had to go to bed for an hour this afternoon, while DH went for his torture appointment with the hygienist. Got woken up by the builder calling round to quote us on the extension which we've now decided we can't afford.

Then we drove off in the opposite direction to the market town because I found out that there is a huge fabric warehouse there - much more to my liking, with plenty of big samples and rolls of curtain materials. Found a couple of patterns that we both said are OK, but still not sure.

However, things are looking up this evening. DS1 called round and I have sorted out DDiL1's birthday card and present. And I have found my favourite William Morris fabric on sale online at a very reasonable price, so I may go for that, if I can persuade DH! To be honest, I think he will say yes just in order not to have to go round any more curtain shops :rotfl:

The airing cupboard will be done tomorrow, promise! :D

Skinty, I need some of your energy!

(((Hugs))) spoons and sticks to all who need them, especially LW.
