CY hugs sweetie, that is sad news for you all and I feel your pain at your Mum not telling you. Only she knows why that was, sending you strength x
Food shopping all done and put away, kids home and fed.
Going to at a frog now, hoping to be done by 3pm when DS2 is off on his driving lesson and I can then help DS3 with his homework. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Been trying to get house insurance quotes..........bored now!!!
Rather be ironing!!!! HHI starting now.................0 -
Done some ironing and have clothes ready for tomorrow.
5 mins now before picking DD up from creative club, then put dinner on and go through DD's desk drawers to have a cull, part of my Toots list0 -
Sorry to read your news CY.
Been doing OK. Got some washing put away and DS2's room sorted out. It was disgusting and it's not long since it was totally emptied for decorating. He thinks nothing of throwing food and dirty pants under his bed and is always leaving his drawers open which drives me crazy because the cats then go and sit in them.
Cleared front garden of catfood paraphenalia - we feed the cats their meat on paper plates outside so we can just chuck it all in bin after. (12 cats). Cleared away pigeon feathers and mouse corpses
The Man is moving his things out. I feel a bit sad about it, mostly for the kids. I'll be pleased to have his room to put my knitting machines in. Currently they reside in the lounge and are at constant risk of damage.
Finished reading 'The woman who went to bed for a year'. It was recommended on this thread somewhere but don't remember who. It was ok. I gave it 3 out of 5 stars.

I'm still shredding. Just letting the shredder cool off for a bit and a catch up here before DD gets in. She may have homework to do, but she'll just have to put up with the noise of the shredder as I am nearly there
Stopped earlier as my mum & brother popped in. Took me less than 5 minutes to put stuff out the way thanks to sort of keeping up with the lists
Oh well, back to it. This pile will be gone tonight!Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
Rang the council to get them to remove my sofa from the side of the house. Unfortunately we chopped it up into 3 pieces thinking we might take it to the tip ourselves, however this doesn't seem to be happening and now the council are dithering over whether the 3 pieces of a settee make 1 collection out of my 5 piece allowance or 3 pieces of the sofa mean 3 collection credits! I despair!:heart2:I have a child with autism.:heart2:0

Got a bit more done, thank goodness, but there still seems to be so much left to go  Fortunately the friends who are coming over tonight are not snooty and I'm sure will be happier to see me (and a full table) than a decluttered hall :rotfl:
I keep adding to my Toots list as I'm working through rooms, worryingly it's now reached 3 pages long! DH will not be impressed when I show him :rotfl:
