Don't tell anyone... but I've just logged into HL. My holding showing at 443p.
Not sure if I trust the site enough to do a trade though.0 -

Same here... Finally got through but wondering whether the site will log me out half-way through a trade...0 -
From the BBC
More than 93,000 people who submitted an application for the minimum value of shares will receive their order in full, with 37% of investors getting at least half of the amount they wanted.
Royal Mail employees - including bosses - who applied for up to £10,000 worth of shares through the staff priority offer will receive their orders in full, the Government said.
The value of free staff shares will be based on the closing price of shares next Tuesday, when shares will be openly traded and retail investors will be able to buy and sell the stock.
Thanks for that, that's what I was looking for0 -

I did try to withdraw my £250 refund but that crapped out so I'll hold off trying to sell until the system settles down a bit more.0 -
Quick question i'm hoping someone can answer.
I bought my shares through the government royal mail web site they set up. Does that mean there is no way I can sell my shares before Tuesday or is it possible to contact a broker and ask them to sell them on my behalf at the current price?
If so, any advice on how to go about it would be wlecome!0 -

Yes, think I'll go and make myself a nice cuppa and get some work done before trying again. My sister isn't happy - she's a student and wanted to sell this AM. She doesn't usually get up at 8am and wants to go back to bed....0 -
Yes, that is pretty much it.
Of course your shares are now worth about £1,000 so the forward looking dividend yield is now a tad over 4% but that does not affect the income you will get.
Sorry, one more question... So say I get 6% dividend from the £750 of shares I have allocated. Does that mean I would get £45 (6% of 750) each month (or is that yearly)? Man this is confusing!0 -
It's an annual dividend0
