https://www.x-o.co.uk now not letting me log on - grr
great post !0 -
Just wondering if it would be best to sell or keep hold of the shares? I cant see it falling below the 330p that the shares were sold at so maybe keeping the shares wouldn't be a bad idea. But then again selling them now and you're looking at a nice little profit. Not sure what to do!0

Just got as far as entering my password on the HL site... and then it crapped out. I had decided that I would hold the shares at 400p but 440p is just too good an offer to resist.
HL getting a lot of abuse on Twitter.0 -
Is anyone else astounded by the number of people who have applied for shares but obviously didn't even read the FAQs on the Royal Mail share site before having over their payment details?
I know I'm slightly over cautious by nature by I presumed that most people spending £1000 or so would do a little reading first???0 -
x-o's site was sluggish this morning, but I was able to make the trade. Price is holding at more or less the same level at the moment, though, which is good news.
It's going to be fascinating to see what happens next.0 -

Don't panic! If you keep them you should get a dividend of 6% - not bad with savings interest rates at around 1.5%!0 -
For those of you awaiting certificates:
I know it seems a little old-fashioned, but try looking up "Stockbroker" in the yellow pages. There's one in Leeds, with an invitation to "visit our shop" in their ad. Perhaps you could drop in with a share certificate, but best to ring first.0 -
Too tempting. We sold out at £4.51. We sent an auto limit with Barclays and the system sold for us. We set this trade thinking we would never get this price and were going to keep them. However for us a too good an opportunity to miss.0

I used svs securities and sold my holding this morning at 445p.
Had to call them as couldn't sell the shares online - got through immediately and they sold them in a few seconds for their £5.75 commission.
Haven't a clue whether the shares will go up or down - but bottom line is that I made some profit. It's too easy to get greedy when dealing. My moto is that as long as I make more than bank interest then I am happy0 -
I applied for shares direct from the gov site on Monday. I received an email confirming my application with said application number.
I have received no other information and I notice that others have had emails. Am I just going to have to wait for an email or can I use my application number to some how find out more info?0
