Sorry, one more question... So say I get 6% dividend from the £750 of shares I have allocated. Does that mean I would get £45 (6% of 750) each month (or is that yearly)? Man this is confusing!
Dividend rates are calculated annually although companies often pay out quarterly or bi-annually. I'm not sure what the RMG schedule is.
A dividend payment of £45 a month on a £750 investment would be quite nice...0 -
Lesson 1 don't use H&L to buy these type of shares in the future, currently impossible to sign into account whereas TD Waterhouse has no such problems.'Just think for a moment what a prospect that is. A single market without barriers visible or invisible giving you direct and unhindered access to the purchasing power of over 300 million of the worlds wealthiest and most prosperous people' Margaret Thatcher0

So it is paid out annually, would that mean £45 for the whole year or £45x12?0 -
We only applied for the min amount and unlike some did not want to be too greedy.
What a pathetic judgemental statement to make; I can't believe that came from someone with as many thanks as you.

After 2 hours I thought I'd sold the wife's shares online with HL. Went through all the process, agreed sale, yet when I check her account it shows no stock, but the money hasn't been credited and there's no record of the sale. No emails either. Does it take a while to show up?0
