I missed the bit that said, if you want a share certificate, click here. Really poorly laid out, and if I was suspicious, I would think that it wasn't an accident, Equiniti may make a lot more money by this user error.
I am not the only one who has fallen for this sadly. Many of us thought we were getting a nominee account!
He knows that, he's a wind-up merchant. He's been having snide digs throughout this thread. I noticed that at least one was removed by the moderators.0 -
Try this way.
Go to http://www.shareview.co.uk/4/Info/Portfolio/Default/en/Home/Products/Pages/Certificate-dealing.aspx
On the right under Ready To Trade click on Buy Sell.
Complete your details and select the option I do not have an Account Number and see where that takes you.
Do you have shares on the nominee account or certificate. I have a cert (well I will tomorrow I hope) so I can only go via certificate\CREST option, you might have to choose CSN
ThenMmm I tried that but it comes up with a message to call the phone dealing line. I don't want to do the automated phone selling as I only want to sell part of my holding. God, I'm confused by all this!0 -
Yes I noticed that as well, it was aimed at me of course.
Not sure if it was a moderator or he thought better of his awful comment. He knows that, he's a wind-up merchant. He's been having snide digs throughout this thread. I noticed that at least one was removed by the moderators.0 -
Equiniti said it would be about ten days before we could sell if we returned the certs to them, with the form Ds, to convert them to nominee shares.
I've decided to do mine with x-o.

I hope they are a bit quicker.0 -
There has been a lot of sarcasm on this thread. Thankfully, the majority have been helpful.0

No good unless you have an account number. (Takes you to a notice telling you to ring in)0
