If you were right with that number, I'd probably be saying:
Price has gone off a cliff! Buy!0 -
Have applied thro Gov site for myself and wife - no emails yet for either of us.
This thread reminds me of one on Glastonbury ticket day, always full of "have you received your confirmation email yet".
Hope the strike action is already reflected in price.0 -
If the reference is not issued by 4.30pm today (i.e. within 2 days of Admission) are those not in receipt of their reference entitled to some form of compensation, whether they wish to sell their shares or not?
You can't claim under UK law for a loss you haven't yet suffered, and at the moment you have not suffered any loss, you have the shares, and they are still worth over what you paid for them.
If you can prove they were negligent you may have a case, but theres so many places an email could be lost in the chain it would be difficult to prove. All Equniti would have to show is that the email was sent, after it leaves their systems it's out of their control.0 -
I have a share offer number, but not the share reference number yet.
I applied an hour before the deadline. I wonder if that is why I'm at the end of the queue.
Price has gone down too.0 -

Although if you could gather together a lot of other people who'd also not received the email, it would put a big question mark against Equiniti's claim to have sent all the emails
I got a notification late yesterday (after trading had closed) so I plumped for the telephone trading service. Unfortunately that means mine will get sold this morning just as the price is dropping but hey ho, a profit is a profit
Re: the telephone service. It seems a bit insecure to me, all they ask is for you to enter your shareholder reference once and then press 1 a couple of times to confirm. What if you get a digit wrong and enter someone else's reference - you've sold someone else's shares :eek:0 -
That fact that some people can sell but other can't because they have no email yet mean that they are being treated unfairly and are potentially at a financial risk due to this delay.
I still haven't had my email either. If anyone recieves an email today please post so others can see that they are still arriving. I am concerned that instead of waiting, I should be contacting someone to get something sorted. This is a bit of a mess.0 -

I applied ten minutes before the deadline and had my share number yesterday morning, maybe it's alphabetical, I am a J.0 -
I just bought a stamp. How long should I expect that to filter through to the share price?0

Isn't the fact you are posting this when you agreed their ts +cs which plainly stated the 2 days they had to send you the email evidence you really shouldn't be allowed to click on the net and send cash off like this?0 -

You have posted nothing but moaning in this thread about not getting your email yet, even going so far as wanting to make a claim!
Did you not read the prospectus before you bought your shares?? It clearly stated that you may not get your email on the first day of trading. Did you just send away your money without reading?
If you were unhappy about not potentially being able to sell on the first day of trading then why did you buy the shares?????
This is not "a bit of a mess", but rather you are "a bit of an idiot".0
