IMHO don't waste your time nor your money. When you come to sell the other 27, you'll probably lose another £20 in dealing charges on top of however much it costs you to sell the 200.....and they cheap dealing service isn't open to you as its an all or nothing selling service.
Good point0 -
One lesson I have learnt is don't be tempted to sell too damn early!0

Two days or so after you get a notification letter, then about a week later after settlement you get payment.
Postal delays could change the timescale..0 -
Who knows ? But the strike ballot is known about so should be reflected in the price already. Share price might rocket if they choose not to strike or the vote/turnout isn't convincing.
Long term the questions is more is the business viable.
Letters business is declining but we sent more parcels as we buy on the internet. However there are loads of parcel companies, and will the move to parcel drop off points (such as Amazons Locker service), or deliver to local store options see that be eaten into too. I don't send parcels by RM if I can I use My Hermes as they are far cheaper.
Maybe the future is a big parcel locker service you can access anytime not 7 to 6 as the delivery office usually is?0 -
Another lesson you should learn (and which hopefully I have learnt but I'm not convinced yet!) is to focus on how much you DID make, not how much you COULD HAVE made ... especially as with share dealing, there is always the possibility of losing money.
This is the point! I have seen references on this thread to 'losses' because some sold at less than the optimum price. They didn't make a loss, they made a profit. If we all had the benefit of hindsight the price wouldn't have been set at 330p in the first place. Nobody ever went skint taking a profit, I sold at 464.5p and I am happy enough with that. I'm not booing the share price now that I've sold, I actually want it to carry on rising because I have plenty in ftse trackers, and although the correlation is tentative, I want to see share prices rising.Chuck Norris can kill two stones with one birdThe only time Chuck Norris was wrong was when he thought he had made a mistakeChuck Norris puts the "laughter" in "manslaughter".I've started running again, after several injuries had forced me to stop0 -
Two lessons this has taught me, should there be any more sell-offs:
1 Not to apply through the official government channel - use the alternatives provided.
2 Never, ever to have any further dealings with Equiniti
Shares sold - but no thanks whatever to Equiniti.
I expect you still made a fast buck or two.
Some people never happy these days.0 -

What has always been stupid about RM is you can send from any post office, but have to go to a far distant sorting office to collect while you were outs. This needs fixing pronto.0 -
This is getting beyond a joke now....still no email.
I read via the Telegraph website yesterday that Equiniti said and I quote "The vast majority of [the numbers] have now been issued and we working to issue the remainder before close of play." (Tuesday)
If the reference is not issued by 4.30pm today (i.e. within 2 days of Admission) are those not in receipt of their reference entitled to some form of compensation, whether they wish to sell their shares or not?0 -
So a day on from when those of us who applied through the Government website should have received their email confirmation / shareholder reference number allowing us to trade, are there others like myself still waiting for the email?0
