  • Anyone used Equiniti before? How long do you think before we get the cheque? We talking a couple days or some looooong drawn out process?

I have to admit i can't remember what option i picked. Night shifts do strange things to my mind.

I also haven't received any reference number, or any email.
But they have taken the money....
Hmmm have to make some phone calls tomorrow.

Can anyone suggest the first point of call to track the info down?

  • Relieved to see that I`m not the only one still patiently waiting for an email.

But I must admit to being worried that it`s seemingly possible to have selected a nominee account, but be given paper share certificate instead!

Two lessons this has taught me, should there be any more sell-offs:

1 Not to apply through the official government channel - use the alternatives provided.

2 Never, ever to have any further dealings with Equiniti

Shares sold - but no thanks whatever to Equiniti.

One lesson I have learnt is don't be tempted to sell too damn early!

IMHO don't waste your time nor your money. When you come to sell the other 27, you'll probably lose another £20 in dealing charges on top of however much it costs you to sell the 200.....and they cheap dealing service isn't open to you as its an all or nothing selling service.
