OA - sfd: 16/20. fbudget: £142.50/£180. fbank: £3/£3. wfood: 11/13. bbudget: £5.00/£10.
Today was a very rough day so really proud that I didn't end up shopping. (it tends to be a reaction to rough days).
So... spend free day number 16 of 20.
Work food number 12 of 13, (think my maths is off as I only have one day of work left. although I didn't realise it was a five week month so I have another two days left to work this month).
Did I mention my maths was rubbish??
Will go and sort out my extra work days in my sig now.Mortgage: £0/£80,329.91

Good morning everyone.
I've not been on here since the weekend cos the blooming computer had to go and be repaired and I've been ill.
I'm now on SFD 13 and have now spent all my shopping money due to being ill and having to pay for prescriptions.
I'm still going to trying to aim for as many NSD as I can but realistically won't reach the target of 20 unless I am extremely creative.
I don't need to buy anything yet and hopefully the stockpile in the freezer/pantry will get me through a few more NSD.
I've got bread mixes and long life milk and enough fresh fruit and veg to last for a few days.
There's also frozen fruit and veg too, so I'll see how long I can last with what I've got in.
Your posts always keep me on track and even when I have to spend something, I always think of this challenge.
Keep at it everyone - the end is nigh.NSK Zombie # SFD 7/15 Food Bank £0/£5

Good morning,
today should be another SFD. Baked a bread last night as we had run out. And still got UHT back up milk in the cupboard, so shouldn't need to shop till the weekend.
Claimed another £15 voucher from a survey site and waiting for the delivery of another £10 one from a different site. If they all come I'll have £45 in Amazon vouchers for christmas presents, maybe more of the pending TCB monies are paid in time or I get enough survey again.
Miserable day, got soaked this morning walking DS to nursery as I couldn't find the car keys and again cycling to work. At least it's clearing up now and I might get some washing out till tomorrow afternoon.
Have a nice day.DEBT 02/25: total £6100 Debt free date 12/250 -
Hello everybody! :T..
I amon a late shift today and here until 1900. What joy! Went to the cinema last night, bought a few things at Lidls and had to buy hair-dye. Nanell I am super impressed with your "make-do-and-mend" attitude to beauty products. Can you invent something that can dye my hair please apart from mascara?..:rotfl: I bought Morrisons deoderant once - 30p. A roll on though. When I picked it up I had 8 avocados in hand for £2 and had the exact change - it was meant to be and I had my priorities straight.. food first. :rotfl:
And getting money from Mummy and Daddy at that age does not a great life make - imagine when Mummy and Daddy can't help them and they still haven't learnt the facets of what is means to SAVE if they every needed it. A house of your own is not a need, it's a want. What if they lose their jobs and can't cover the mortgage for this lovely house? I would NEVER wish bad luck on anyone but plain common sense doesn't go amiss now and then - you have nothing to be jealous about knowing full well you have worked your !!! off for home! Be proud!
So across the board there seems to be a realisation that we are better off than those who "look" like they are. Fmess your hair has a lot to account for.:). but whether you are jealous or not you just said yourself that you would not want their lives at all! Clearly she is not in a good place despite bricks and mortar.
Tiptoes it seems hard right now I know. But like you said your wouldn't want their life and would choose yours everytime.. so why care about what they have and you don't? It's hard to think of a 2 year slog ahead of you - but you will get there. There is two of you to fight this!
Stewby well done on not spending. This is brilliant! baby steps I say - and yes this 5 week month is HARD!!
KarmaChi taking a day off is an excellent idea. Silver lining and all that. When will you propose this to the board? And what would you do with the day off..? May I ask what you freelance at and whether you think their is ample clientele out there... OOOOh I hope you get Fridays off - long weekend...:rotfl:
Right I came straight here when I got into work ( wonder if I can freelance somewhere for a blog...:rotfl:) so I need to go and actually do some work now..
Will check in later though...“Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Hello!
It's been a few days but I am proud to say I am up to 19 SFDs! Whoop whoop!
I get paid on Friday so the challenge ends for me then as I will start my budget for November.
OA hasn't gone as well as it should for me, we have struggled with the shopping budget so back to the drawing board with that, and I needed to buy DD some new school clothes and myself some boots. Feel like I have failed but I have learnt things that I would not have otherwise learnt unless I did it! So thanks NSK!Squirrelling away in September No 33It's not about the money, it's about financial freedom, being in control of it and living in the natural world and not a material world0 -

It is just me or is the word "fondle" just a little bit creepy?..:rotfl:“Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence.
