is the same true for voda paugs?
Hi reehsetin,
Vodafone will supply a Network Unlock Code (NUC) free of charge for both Contract and Pay As You Talk (PAYT)customers if the phone is over 12 months old.
If the phone is under 12 months old there will be a charge of £19.99 (inc VAT). If you are a PAYT customer then the phone will need to have at least £19.99 credit to cover this fee. The fee will be debited from the credit once the NUC has been issues.
To get the NUC please contact Vodafone on 08700 700 191 or 191 from your Vodafone phone. You can also contact us using Vodafones Online Contact Form. Please include the code FIT135 in your email to ensure that it comes to our department. Please include as much information to allow me to access your account without having to ask for more information.
You will need to advised us of the make and model of your device and we will also need your IMEI number. The IMEI number can be found by entering *#06# into your phone which will then display the number on your screen. It can also be found on a sticker in the battery compartment of the phone.
I hope this helps

Well thats a bit disheartening read through all 5 pages of this thread and cannot find my phones even mentioned. Does not say a lot for them i suppose.
I have an Lg u880 and the LG u890 both on 3.
I wish to get them unlocked, as the 12 month contracts are over, is this done by code or by Market stall.
Many thanks for your help.Be ALERT - The world needs more LERTS0
