This thread is to replace the old thread

    http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=43994

as ALL the information below was missing

    ###### Please be aware that you use these codes at your own risk, this is just a list of codes from various sources that have worked in the past. ####

Do not ask for codes in this thread

DO NOT PM ME FOR UNLOCK CODES

Most Motorola's , LG's , most new Samsungs and Sony Ericssons cannot be unlocked by code and need to be unlocked by direct cable or clip in a shop.

If there is not a code listed for your phone below then there is NO free way to unlock it, you need to find a shop or Market Stall to do it for you (correct as of 18/06/06)

How To Unlock NEC E525 + E515 + E530 (with thanks to Ali's Knowledge Base)

To View the original article please follow this link to Ali's Website here

So you have bought yourself a cracking phone and you want to unlock it to all networks (this method is confirmed working in the USA for both phones using the second command below) .

    1. Obtain the NEC usb drivers from HERE
    2. Buy yourself a NEC usb cable HERE
    3. Get yourself the excellent Nectalk from HERE
    4. Install drivers and plug the phone in. Your OS will go through the new device installation.
    5. Once all installed, go to the directory where you have unzipped Nectalk and type

nectalk -pt pte 10079 unlock (for O2 uk )

or for other networks just type nectalk -pt unlock

The software will connect to the phone and then reboot it.
Once rebooted your phone will be fully unlocked.

V200 unlocking procedure if the other code doesnt work
Enter each line and wait for handset to fully reboot before entering the codes on the next line.
After the last set of codes have been entered the handset will be unlocked - BUT REMEMBER - back up your phone book etc first!!

    *2767*63342#
    *2767*3855#
    *2767*2878#
    *2767*927#
    *2767*7822573738#
Samsung X450 (also works on samsung E810 - tested by wacko911)
    1) note handset imei
    2) insert the card you want to use in your handset and switch on
    3) at wrong card enter *2767*688xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx#
    (xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx = handset imei number)
    4) after reboot your sim will work, BUT not after power down

    now the trick:

    5) enter *0141#
    6) press call (green) button
    7) now simlock updated to current network
    E700
If the other two solutions has failed to remove the lock on your handset it is possible that your handset
may have a second security lock.
This extra lock is placed on certain Samsung handsets and unfortunately it’s impossible to know this before hand.
However here is another solution which you can try.
Power on the mobile phone without SIM card inside and type these codes:

    *2767*63342# and press green button
    *2767*3855# and press green button
    *2767*2878# and press green button
    *2767*927# and press green button
    *2767*7822573738# press green button
    E710
    not tested by me
1 Put in your simcard and switch on
2 Unlock with *2767*688 followed by your imei
3 After the reboot try *0141# then GREEN Button
4 *#06# to show your imei nr.
Hope this works it did for me! If you dont do point 3 before you turn your phone off it will go back to original state! Not unlocked any networks
    panasonic g50
    1-Power on phone without simcard.
2-put **00012*00000000# The phone says invalid password.
3-do same operation maybe six time or seven time until the phone says blocked
4 put **00032*00000000# The phone says invalid password.
5-do same operation maybe six time or seven time until the phone says blocked
6- switch phone off and insert sim of choice
    samsung c100
    **Stage I**
    type: "*#9998*627837793#"
    wait till error message dissapears

    **Stage II**
    type: "*#9998*3323#"
press "Exit" and then press 7
    *the phone will reboot*

    **Stage III**
*now the phone will turn on like it would if it was unlocked*
    type:*#9998*627837793#
    wait till error message dissapears

    **Stage IV**
then navigate in menu to 4.2.4 (4. Settings, 2. My Settings, 4. File Manager)
then execute menu item 4 (initialize) and 6 (recover).

Then the phone will be totally unlocked. If you don't follow stage III and IV, after you turn your phone off, and then back on, it will be once again locked, so, do not forget to follow the last 2 stages

O2 Xda/T-Mobile MDA/Dopod/QTEK/Orange SPV and other HTC variant mobile phones
    from t_i_g_e_rr
Can we have http://forum.xda-developers.com/view...=asc&sta rt=0 mentioned in the first post. It is an unlock method for O2 Xda/T-Mobile MDA/Dopod/QTEK/Orange SPV and other HTC variant mobile phones (see website for details).

To get this to work you simply need to download the software (you must register to look at message attachments), copy the software to your phone, and run it

FYI, there's an alpha version of a free Orange c500 sim unlocker on Modacos forums.

    I've just unlocked 2 phones.

    Follow the instructions closely.

Get the Certificate Security on the phone disabled:
    http://developer.orangews.com/orgspv/comdefq.aspx

Then download the software on Modacos:
    http://www.modaco.com/index.php?showtopic=207545

Transfer the .cab file to your phone, only AFTER Certificate Security Disabling

    Install the cab. (doubleclick it)

Then run the unlocker on your pc : SPVServices.exe

Be aware, this is at the alpha stage, if it screws up your phone, you're on your own.

i thought i would just add that if you use a particular samsung unlock code (the one starting with #73) on newer samsungs (such as the d900i/u600 etc) you will get a barred/blocked phone as it will reset the IMEI to 15 0's.

to unlock samsungs, i would use a clip to unlock them. unlock clips can be bought from ebay for around £5-£10

  • i have a sony ericsson k850i on t-mobile and want to put it on vodafone. is ther any codes i can use
  • When you wish to use a handset with a different network's SIM you need to make sure the handset isn't locked to just one network. If this is locked you will need to request the Network Unlocking Code for the handset from your network.
