shop unlock or if the phone is over a year old, you can get the code for free from vodafone. if its not over a year old it will cost £20 to get the code from voda

Hi there, This is a weird one to ask... But what do i do??!! help.......... I have 2 problems:-

1.) Just got the Samsung SGH-G600 on contract with "O2", and wanted to unlock it so i can use my pay as you go sim as well as my contract.
I got some codes off ebay and followed instructions step by step and It seemed to have worked i can use my "Vodafone" sim in it....
But when i put my "o2" sim in it or "orange, t-mobile" it says no network coverage!?! ............... So i am paying a contract for my phone and free mins etc when i cant use it....

So for this problem what do you suggest?

2.) Also with any sim card in the phone or with out i type in "*#06#" for IMEI Number to come on the screen and this is what i get " IMEI 000000 00 000000 /0.

Does anyone know why it is appearing like this? .................................. my head is boggled now!

If anyone has got any suggestions or codes that will repair this or might repair this can you send me a message back.................... Desperately waiting to hear back!! Thanks Melanie

You've used a full EEPROM reset to unlock your phone, which is not recommended, because it resets all the factory settings. And worst case on newer models with MSL2 security, it resets the IMEI number to zeros. Without a valid IMEI number, all the networks should reject it. You will need to find someone that will do an IMEI repair on your phone.

take it to a local shop/market stall where they should be able to unlock it for you
